Signed Dundalk FC jersey up for auction

-

A Dundalk Football Club jersey signed by all the players who played during the 2017 season and especially in the Sports Cup has been handed over to help raise funds for the hospital services.

The jersey is mounted in a beautiful black frame with Dundalk FC badges at top right and left of the picture. There is also an inscription at the bottom which states ‘ Dundalk FC - Sports Cup Winners 2017’.

This jersey was given to the Daniel Brown Fund Raising Campaign to raise money for our hospital services in thanks for the life of Daniel Brown following a horrific accident in 2016. This campaign has been highlighted by articles and announcements in the local Argus newspaper and an interview with Robert & Ann Brown on the local LMFM radio station.

During their son Daniel’s recovery from a serious car accident, Robert and Ann gave a serious commitment that they would do all in their power to commence a fundraising campaign. The special and specific equipment that is required for patients following a major head and brain injury is very restrictive in a number of hospitals. All the money that you donate will be fully credited to our hospitals to help and ease this burden.

A number of successful events have already taken place including a table quiz in the Canal Court, Newry, a guest tea in The Granvue Hotel, Omeath, and a function at the O’Connells in Castlebellingham.

The jersey is a must for any Dundalk fan. It is up for auction and has to be sold before our final fund raising event which takes place on Friday February 2 in the Four Seasons Hotel, Carlingford.

Final arrangements have now been made for our GRAND FINALE NIGHT in the Four Seasons Carlingford. Entertainment on the night will be provided by Glenshane Country, Clare Dillon, Henry Mac and The Nooks. This will prove to be a night to remember and especially not to be missed.

Tickets for the event go on sale today at a number of locations as follows:-. in Omeath at Cafe Rosa, Omeath Post Office and Granvue House Hotel; in Carlingford at the Four Seasons Hotel and Carlingford Arms.
