Holly Kierans taking part in the StVincent’s ‘Fashionably Talented’ show last Thursday.
St.Vincent’s students raised the roof last Friday night when they held the hugely popular annual ‘Fashionably Talented’ competition in the DKIT Multi Purpose centre.
The audience were wowed as girls from a number of school year groups took part in a fantastic talent show which featured singers, musicians and dancers.
Transition Year students then thrilled the crowd with their unique fashion designs which they created themselves.
Fashionably Talented’ continues from strength to strength in the school, providing a forum to showcase the incredible breadth of music and artistic talent in the school.
It also provides the Transition Year students with an opportunity to develop their skills and talents in fashion design, along with the key event management skills needed to host such a major event. Students presented a wide range of colourful and unique designs as part of the TY fashion show.
Models strutted the catwalk in all manner of weird and wonderful outfits, including that worn by Holly Kierans whose ensemble appeared to be made entirely of tennis balls! The designs were greeted with huge applause, as students, staff, parents, family and friends gathered to see some of the hottest looks on the catwalk.
