James Baxter, Rugby House, Mill Road, Dundalk, whose death occurred on 10 February, 2018, peacefully, in the tender and dedicated care of the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Rose (nee O’Hare) and dear father of Thomas and Justin. He will be sadly missed by his sorrowing sons, daughter-in-law Julia, grandchild­ren Oisín, Emma, Tadhg, Brendan, Abby-Rose and Pádraig, sister Monica, sisters-in-law, brotherin-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at home from 11am on Monday. Removal on Tuesday at 11.15am, to St. Joseph’s Church, Castletown, arriving for Mass at 11.30am. Funeral afterwards to St. Patrick’s Cemetery.

Hugh Brennan, Clos Na Manach, and formerly Castle Hill, Carlingfor­d, whose death occurred suddenly at Our Lady Of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. No funeral arrangemen­ts at time of going to press.

Olive Hughes (née Hoey), Bothár na Feirme, Blackrock Road, Dundalk, whose death occurred peacefully in Louth County Hospital on 11 February, 2018. Olive, beloved wife of Paddy, loving mother of Colin, grandmothe­r of Rachel, Ewan, Ben, and sister of Majella Noone, Vera Leavy and the late Elsie O’ Hanlon, Noel Hoey and Patricia Ellis. Deeply regretted by her husband, son, grandchild­ren, sisters, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at her home from 4pm on Sunday. Removal on Tuesday morning at 10.45 to Church of the Holy Family arriving for Mass at 11.0’Clock. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.

Jim (James) Keating, Hyde Park, Dundalk, whose death occurred on 10 February, 2018, suddenly but peacefully at Beaumont Hospital, Dublin surrounded by his loving family. Predecease­d by his mother Delia. Loved and adored by his daughter Ciara Casey, granddaugh­ters Ellie and Darcie, father Matt. Jim will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his daughter, granddaugh­ters, father, sisters Carol and Sandra, brother Gerry, brother-in-law James, Ciara’s mam Sharon, aunt Rose, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a large circle of friends, especially his fellow supporters at Dundalk F.C., Oriel Park. Reposing at the home of his sister Carol Bradley, 66 McSwiney Street, Dundalk from 7 o’clock, Sunday. Removal on Tuesday afternoon at 12.30 o’clock (walking) to Saint Nicholas Church, arriving for Funeral Mass at 1 o’clock. Thereafter (walking) to Saint Patrick’s Cemetery for burial.

Jack Moran, Bishop’s Court, Dundalk, whose death occurred on 10 February, 2018, at his residence. Predecesed by his parents John and Martha and sister Breda McArdle. Very deeply regretted by his loving family, wife Marie, daughters Aoife and Zita, sons David and Niall, grandchild­ren Zara and Jake, brother Tom, son in law Davie, Zita’s partner Micheal, daughters in law Bronagh and Debbie, sisters in-law Anne and Zita Duffener, nephews, nieces, neighbours and friends. Reposing at his residence, Bishop’s Court, from Monday 12 noon to 9pm. Removal on Tuesday morning at 10.40am to Saint Joseph’s Redemptori­st Church arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in Saint Patrick’s Cemetery, Dundalk.

Margaret Crossan (née McDonnell), Cheltenham, England, and formerly of Cluan Enda, Dundalk, whose death occurred on 6 February, 2018, peacefully in Cheltenham. Margaret will be sadly missed by her loving husband Paddy (formerly of Oliver Plunkett Park), sons Jason and Graham, grandchild­ren, great-grandchild, extended family relatives and friends, both in England and her home town of Dundalk. Funeral will take place in Cheltenham on Tuesday, 6 March, 2018. Remembranc­e Mass to celebrate Margaret’s life, Monday, 12 February, 2018, at 7.30pm in Saint Joseph’s Redemptori­st Church, Dundalk.

Alice Mahon (née Cooney), Dealgan House Nursing Home, and formerly of Beechmount Drive, Dundalk, and Monaghan Town, whose death occurred on 8 February, 2018, peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. Predecease­d by her husband John, parents John and Ellen. Alice will be sadly missed by her loving son Chris, brother Sonny, sister Nanny, daughter in-law Kathleen, her niece, carer and best friend Alison Cooney, grandchild­ren Anthony and Darragh, great-grandchild­ren Daithi, Blaithin, Donncha, Aogán and Réalta, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, relatives, wonderful neighbours and friends. Reposing at the residence of her son Chris, Concession Road, Culloville from Friday evening 5pm to 9pm and Saturday 11am to 9pm. Removal on Sunday afternoon at 12.15pm driving to The Church of The Holy Redeemer, Dundalk arriving for Funeral Mass at 1pm, followed by burial in Saint Peter’s Cemetery, Urbleshann­y, Scotstown, Co. Monaghan.

Christophe­r (Christy) Nolan, Crescent Two, Muirhevnam­or, Dundalk, whose death occurred on 9 February, 2018, peacefully at his residence. Christy will be sadly missed by his wonderful carers, friends and neighbours.

Joe beloved husband of Maura (née Flynn) and dear dad of Louise, Yvonne, Joanne and Clare. Predecease­d by his parents John and Brigid. Elizabeth Conway (née Devine), Courtbane, and late of of Ballycarry, Donemana, and the Danny Boy, Dundalk, whose death occurred peacefully on 6 February, 2018, peacefully at the Glencarron Nursing Home, Crossmagle­n, with her loving family by her side. Devoted wife of the late Tom. Cherished mother of John, Tom, Hugh, Elma, Leo and Eamon. Dear sister of Kathleen and the late Rosetta, Hugh, John, Davy and James. Removal from McConville’s Chapel Of Rest, Crossmagle­n at 1pm on Wednesday afternoon to her son Leo’s home at Courtbane. Funeral on 8 February, leaving at 10.30am to the Sacred Heart Church, Shelagh, arriving for 11am Requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery. Michael (Mick) Greene, St Nicholas Avenue, Dundalk, and late of Newmarket-on-Fergus, Clare, whose death occurred peacefully on 7 February, 2018, in the kind and gentle care of the staff at the Louth County Hospital. Mick will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife Moya, son Michael, grandchild­ren, brother James, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, neighbours and by all who knew and loved him. Reposing at Dixons Funeral Home, Dundalk, on Thursday afternoon between 4 o’clock and 8 o’clock.

Sr. M. Josephine Sullivan, Convent of Mercy, Mill Street, Dundalk, and formerly of Kilfintan, Granard, Co. Longford, whose death occurred peacefully in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, after a short illness, on 6 February, 2018. Sr Josephine, daughter of the late Hugh and Rose and sister of Maureen Duffy, Liz Fegan and the late John, Hugh, Thomas, Patrick, Kitty and Rose. Deeply regretted by her sisters, brother-in-law Seamus Fegan, nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, great grand nieces, great grand nephew, relatives, Sisters of Mercy-Northern Province, her Community in Mill Street and many friends.

Deirdre Casey (née Elliott), 21 Beech Park, Blackrock, and formerly of Drumalane Park, Newry. Beloved wife of Paul and dear sister of Patrick, Joseph, Gerry and Helen. Margaret Cawley, Cherryvale, Bay Estate, Dundalk, whose death occurred on 4 February, 2018. Beloved wife of John Bernard (Bernie) and dear mother of Catherine, Helen, Barney, Winnie, William, Margaret, Michael, John, Christine and Mary. Una Fox (née Carolan), Grange, Knockbridg­e, whose death occurred on 5 February, 2018, peacefully at the home of her brother Ronan Carolan, Grange, Knockbridg­e. Beloved wife of the late Paddy and daughter of the late James and Elizabeth Carolan. Una will be very sadly missed and remembered with love by her brother Ronan, sister-in-law Joan and their family, aunts Bridget Reilly (Newry) and Frances Murphy (Knockbridg­e), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

George Harnett, Blackrock, Dublin, and formerly of Dundalk, whose death occurred on 4 February, 2018, peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of St. Vincent’s Hospital, Elm Park. Beloved husband of Mireille, much loved dad of Melanie and Reamonn. George will be sadly missed by his wife, son, daughter, sisters Ann and Sr. Michele SSL (Mary), brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, daughter-in-law Marion, his adored grandchild­ren, extended family, relatives and friends.
