Not too far away I caught up with friend and neighbour Olivia McGee from Cedarwood Park, who was enjoying the night with the happy couple’s daughter-in-law Michelle from Marian Park and kids Mikey and Clara. Olivia told me if I stayed long enough I’d see Michelle transform into Tina Turner and sing a few songs!
Next I caught Christina, who was having a laugh with sisters Lorraine O’Reilly from Cooley and Muriel Hoey from Broughton Street, who told me that their brother Vinny Hoey would have loved to be there to wish them all the best. Lorraine was there with husband Owen, who wanted to wish the happy coupe all the best too.
Not too far away I caught up with Michelle’s husband Chris and he was chatting to Eric Rice from Castletown Road, Kevin and Margaret Conlon from Hughes Park, who told me they are ‘ kissing cousins’ and were up for a major night of fun.

Murray Park and Oakland Park respectively, who were having a laugh with Mal Duffy from Ashling Park, Davy McGeown from Marian Park and Conor McGuinness from Hackballscross, who all assured me they’d try their hardest to make the best of the celebrations.
Heading for another table I met up with Michael Enright from Ashling Par and Andy Lennon from Greenacres, who was awaiting the arrival of Bernie O’Connor from Woodview Park and they were all set to party the night away with the Doyle’s.
After this I got a quick word with Sandra Agnew and Marie Bromley both from Newry, who were enjoying the company of Derek Moran and they wanted to wish the happy couple all the best for the future.
Not too long later I met up with Aland Sheridan from Monaghan and Emma Hughes from Dromin, who told me they work with the couple’s son David and were really looking forward to the night with him.
Making my way through the crowds I then met up with Sandra and Brendan McCabe from Cedarwood Park, who were only in and ready to make the best of the golden jubilee celebrations with Kevin and Christina.
Heading for another table I got a word with daughter and mother Sharon and Seán Doyle from Castle Park, who were with Marie and Malachy Toner from Fr Murray Park, who assured me it was going to be an epic night.
After this I got a word with Andrew Conway and Melissa Turley both from Beechmount Drive, who wanted to wish the happy couple all the best on their big night.
Not too long later I got taking to Maria Conlon from Hill Street, who was with her daughter Georgina McCabe from Aghameen Park, who are long-time friends of the Doyle’s and wouldn’t have missed the party for anything.
