The show must go on - singers braved the elements

-

It was a case of ‘ the show must go on’ for the Cuchullain Singers as they staged their show ‘Perfect Harmony: A Musical Odyssey Through the 70s’ in the Spirit Store at the weekend.

Although the combined forces of The Beast from the East and Storm Emma led to the group cancelling their performances on Thursday and Friday night, they were grateful that The Spirit Store was able to give them an extra slot on Sunday night when a band who were supposed to be travelling from England for a gig were unable to make it.

The intrepid singers braved the elements for rehearsals on Friday and delighted audiences with their performances on Saturday and Sunday.

Show directors Lorraine Carroll Quigley and Liz McConnon paid tribute to all the members for their dedication and for the audiences for their support.

The blizzard also led to the cancellation of the performances of ‘ The Successful TD’ in An Tain Arts Centre, which the play now rescheduled to Saturday May 12th.
