St. Patrick’s day volunteers sought

WITH less than three weeks to go until the Dundalk St Patrick’s Day Parade, an appeal has gone out for volunteers who are needed to help ensure the smooth running of the parade from Castletown Road to Dublin Street.

Volunteers are also needed to help with the post parade events including the food market area and the Pelican Promotion family fun zone in association with Dundalk Credit Union Ltd.

Organising Committee Chairperson, David Minto said: ‘Our volunteers are essential to carrying out all our plans and to make sure everyone who visits the town centre that day enjoys themselves in safety. The more volunteers we have, the easier it is for everybody all round.
