MARGARET (Madge) Atkinson (née Smyth), Mill Street., Dundalk, whose death occurred peacefully, in the Mater Private Hospital, on 2 March, 2018. Madge, beloved wife of the late James and dear mother of Breda and Mary, nana of Christina, Andrew, Niall, Paul, Gary and Killian and mother-in-law of Paddy Ruddle and Tony Carroll. Deeply regretted by her daughters, grandchild­ren, sons-in-law, sisters and brothers, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at her home from 4pm until 8pm on Sunday. Removal on Monday morning at 10.40am to St. Patrick’s Cathedral arriving for Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery.

MAURA Casey (née Byrne), Carrickmul­len, Knockbridg­e, whose death occurred peacefully in Our Lady’s Hospice, Dublin, on 2 March, 2018. Maura, beloved wife of Michael, dear mother of Laura and David and grandmothe­r of James. Deeply regretted by her husband, son, daughter, grandson, daughter-in-law Nicola, sister of Anna Mc Kiernan (Sligo), brothers John, Peter and Thomas, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at her home from 2pm on Sunday. Removal on Tuesday morning at 11.30 to St. Mary’s Church, Knockbridg­e, arriving for Mass at 12 o’clock. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

MARY Gibson (née Tuite), Alcantara, Red Barns Road, Dundalk, late of Gibson’s Opticians, whose death occurred peacefully on 2 March, 2018, in the exceptiona­l care of the wonderful staff at Carlingfor­d Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of her late husband Declan, cherished mother of Tara and Brian. Mary will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her children, son-in-law Gerry Ross, daughter-in-law Barbara Burke, grandchild­ren Kaitlin, Dominique, Nicholas, Daniel and Aisling, great-grandchild­ren Elwood and Abigail, sister Pauline Henry, brothers Joe, Paddy and Damien, brother-in-law Jimmy, sisters-in-law, Breda and Patsy, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends. Reposing at the home of her daughter Tara Ross, An Chúinne, Red Barns Road, Dundalk on Saturday, between 6 o’clock and 8 o’clock, and on Sunday between 2 o’clock and 6 o’clock. Removal on Monday afternoon at 12.40pm, driving to Saint Patrick’s Cathedral arriving for Funeral Mass at 1 o’clock. Thereafter driving to Saint Patricks Cemetery.

MELISSA O’Reilly, Grove Road, Carlingfor­d, whose death occurred peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at St. Francis Hospice, Blanchards­town, on 2

MARCH, 2018. Predecease­d by her father Gerry and grandparen­ts Peter and Bridget O’Reilly and Albert and Kitty Hosford. Very deeply regretted by her beloved mother Anne, sister Catherine and brother Oisín, sister-in-law Nittaya, nieces Danissa and Diana. Also by Brendan, her aunts, uncles, cousins and large circle of friends. Reposing at her residence at Grove Road, Carlingfor­d, from 1.00 pm - 9.00 pm on Sunday. Removal on Monday morning at 10.30 am to St. Michael’s Church, Carlingfor­d, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.00 am. From there to Dardistown Crematoriu­m, Dublin arriving for 2.00 pm.

MAUREEN Kidney (née Brady), Dublin and formerly of Dundalk and Blackrock, Co. Louth whose death occurred on 27 February, 2018, in her 95th year, peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of the late John and loving and loved mother of Gerard, Brian, Anne Marie, Katherine and David. She will be forever sadly missed by her sons and daughters, sons-in-law Bob and Ger, daughters-in-law Margaret, Mary and Cheryl, grandchild­ren Caroline, Stephen, John, Louise, Susan, Maria, Daniel and Michelle, great-granddaugh­ter Lois, nieces, nephews, sister-in-law, relatives and friends. HANNAH McAnallen, Sutton Court, Seatown Place, Dundalk, and formerly of Eglish, Dungannon, Co. Tyrone, whose death occurred peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of Louth County Hospital on 1 March, 2018. Hannah, much loved mother of Shauna, dear sister of Kevin, Brendan, Sean, Margaret Mannion, and the late Dan and Mary, daughter of the late John and Hannah, and aunt of the late Cormac. Deeply regretted by her loving daughter, brothers, sister, brother in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at McGeoughs Funeral Home, Jocelyn Street, from 1.30pm on Saturday with removal at 4.30pm to St. Patrick’s Church, Eglish, arriving for evening prayers at 6.30pm. Funeral Mass on Sunday at 11am followed by burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Eglish.

ROSALEEN Bradley (née Dullaghan), Slieve Roe Crescent and late of Marian Park, Dundalk, whose death occurred peacefully, on 27 February, 2018, surrounded by her loving family in the kind and gentle care of the staff in Saint Francis Nursing Home. Beloved wife of the late Michael and cherished mother of Marian, Michael, Gerard, Bernard, Enda, Oliver, Kieran, Gabriel, and Paul. Bridie, beloved wife of the late Mick and dear mother of Thomas, Michael, Paddy, Rosemary, Bridie, Catherine and the late Kevin, granny of Adrian, Ciara, Elaine, Laura, Maria, Thomas, Kevin and Ciaran, Niall and Ailish, great granny of Jayden and sister of Michael and Kathleen. GERARD MacManus, Crawfordvi­lle, Florida, USA and formerly of “Watergate”, Point Road, Dundalk, whose death occurred on 18 February, 2018. He was the son of the late Peter and Maureen MacManus, and is survived by his wife Eva, sons Dean, Christophe­r and Logan, brothers Terry and Canice, sister Marna their spouses and an extended family of nieces and nephews, grandniece­s and grandnephe­ws. May he rest in peace.
