VINTAGE CLUB

The Louth Abbey Vintage club are at present busily get- ting ready for their St. Patrick’s day parade. Anyone who would either like to help or enter a float can contact any club committee member. As per last year the day will commence with breakfast being served in the community centre. All proceeds will be distribute­d to local causes.

FUNDRAISER

Also on the day the Community centre committee are holding a fund raiser and all these proceeds are going to the restoratio­n of the centre. We will have more details next week.

RE-ARRANGED QUIZ

Due to the adverse weather St. Mochtas buzzer quiz which was to be held in Eamos Bar last Saturday night had to be cancelled but it will go ahead this Saturday night 12th March. All are welcome.

50/50 FUNDRAISER

St. Mochtas 50/50 fund raiser continues every week and every week there is a guaranteed winner. Next Sunday the draw takes place in Sark’s lounge. Ticketscan be had in all shops or pubs or from any committee member.

LADIES UNDER 12 TEAM

St. Mochtas ladies under 12 team commenced training for the new seaso last Monday 5th March in the assembly hall of the school. The under 14 team are already back training and this year they amalgamate­d with Glyde Rangers. New members are welcome. For further informatio­n contact Julie at 0860719968.

SERVICES

The adoration and Rosary will be held again this coming Wednesday in the chapel at usual times. Because of the adverse weather it had to be cancelled for safety reasons.
