Wyvern Lingo play Spirit Store
WYVERN Lingo, the Wicklow based trio riding a crest of a wave following the release of their debut album, play the Spirit Store on Sunday night.
The trio self-released their first EP ‘ The Widow Knows’ in 2014, which brought them to the attention of Irish independent label Rubyworks. Extensive international touring followed with James Vincent McMorrow and fellow-Bray native Hozier, and a second EP , ‘Letter To Willow’, followed in 2016. Speaking about their debut album which was released to rave reviews last month, the band said ‘ These songs are a collection of experiences both separate and shared. Experiences that shape how we view the world, and how we’ve come to terms with the way our lives have unfolded.’
Since its release, they have appeared on The Late Late Show as well as the front cover of Hot Press magazine.
Having received a CHOICE nomination for song of the year, they are now touring Ireland with further dates in the UK, Germany and Holland.
Local band Sonnets and Sisters play support on Sunday.
