A NIGHT TO REMEMBER IN THE CLANS CLUBROOMS

-

ON Saturday night we headed for the Clans clubrooms where a rather special 21st birthday party was taking place for Michael Gray from Cedarwood Park and there to make sure he had a real night to remember was his mum Tina, sister Leah, brothers Ryan and Dean, grandparents Majella and Jimmy Gray and Sammy Henry and a huge collection of family and friends.

I wasn’t too long in the door when I met up with a bunch of Michael’s mates who included Paul De Harmon from Muirhevnamor, Ryan Gray from Cedarwood Park, Keano G., Martin Heffernan from Hackballscross, Barry McPhillips from Ashling Par, Brendan and Peter Duffy from Cedarwood Park and Darren Robinson from Ashling Park who told me it was going to be a massive night and no mistake.

Seated close by were Conor McGuinness from Hackballscross, Ryan McEneaney from Woodview Park, David Reilly and James Conlon from Saltown who wanted to wish Michael all the best on what was going to be an epic night for sure.

Also in their company I then got talking to Leah McGee from Patrick Tierney Crescent, Tara Gray from Newry, Kellie Hughes from Cedarwood Park and Lauren Joyce from Castletown Road who were up for making it a mad one with Aidan Conway from Barton Park and Chris Clarke from Woodview Park.

Meanwhile up near the bar I met up with Rodney Gray from Armagh Road and James Duffy from Castletowncross who were ready to party and wanted to wish Michael all the best on his big night, they also said they couldn’t wait to see his face when the stripper arrived!

After this I met up with Ciaran McIntyre from Beechmount Drive who was with Billy Smith from Muirhevnamor who told me he is the top goal scorer with Muirhevnamor and easily the Clans best player too!

I then had the pleasure of talking to Chloe Murphy from Toberona who was with her mate Shannon Morgan from Drogheda who wanted to wish Michael all the best on his big night.

Making my way over to one of the adjacent tables I then caught up with Patricia and Holly Savage from Castle Park who were having a laugh with my old friend Brenda Lee from Beechmount Drive who told me she is friends with Michael’s mum Tina and was then joined by Michael’s grandad Jimmy who said the real crack was only starting to get going and he was having a laugh with uncle Franko Gray from Beechmount Drive and James Duffy from Castletowncross.

After this I met up with Jackie Morgan, Nikki Kelly, Angela McCamley and Tommy Hughes all from Newry who were joined by Michael cousin Niall Keenan from Newry who told me he was going to have a mad night with the girls.

Finally, before I departed I caught up with Lisa Gray, Sean Collins and John and Denise Hughes all from Beechmount Drive, and Lisa told me they were there on the night with Sandra and Mickey O’Hagan from Muirhevnamor, Majella Gray and Jackie from Cedarwood Park, Shirley Campbell from Lennon Melia Terrace, Naomi
