PETE McGrath is only half way through his first season as Louth boss and will clearly need more time to make his mark. But as Tipp cruised to a victory that was strikingly reminiscent of the humiliating drubbing they inflicted on the Reds at the same venue just under three years ago, it was hard to shake the feeling that Louth had taken a couple of steps back. That 2015 hammering was something of a watershed moment in Colin Kelly’s regime, but after securing back-to-back promotions in the meantime, Louth seem to be back to square one.
