We are holding our now annual St. Patrick’s Day walk, meeting at 11.45am at the Granvue, departing at midday and walking to Greer’s Quay. All kids on the walk will receive tickets for food sponsored by Helen and Shane in The Granvue. This will be followed by music by the mini ceol heads and Irish dancing displays by the students of Clarke School of Irish Dance. Also face painting for all the kids. Come along, wear green and enjoy the craic.
All players, including our amalgamation teams with Cooley must be members of the club and hopefully do so within the next week. Any players that are not members of our club will not be eligible to train/play with their respective team.
We have amalgamations at U18, U15, U16, U14 and possibly U12. We feel this is best for our kids to give them good constant football. Unfortunately, through no fault of our own we are low on numbers at these levels and so this is our best option to fulfil the potential of our future stars.
