Israel strikes gold

DUNDEALGAN A.C. athletes, Kevin Oladundjoye, Destiny James and Israel Olatunde took part in day four of the Leinster Juvenile Indoor Championships at the A.I.T. on Sunday.

All were competing in the U-17 200 meters and all three put in excellent performances.

However, a super performance by Israel (pictured below) saw him win the gold medal in a time of 22.82, thus adding this to his recent gold in both the U-17 60 metres and Junior 60 metres, and a silver in the Junior 200 meters.

Next outing for Kevin and Israel is the National Juvenile Indoor Championships, with both having qualified through Leinster.
