Dancing in the Community Centre continues this Sunday night, March 18, with music by Twice Shy. Checkers play on March 25 and Declan Aungier on April 1. Dancing from 9.00pm to 12 midnight.

Confirmation takes place this Friday, March 16, at 11.00am. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament takes place each Friday from 6.30p.m.-7.30p.m. Please pray for Jackie Quinn, Ballsmill, late of Carrickastuck, Paddy Rogers, Jerretspass, late of Belrobin, Alec Dempsey, Cavan, Michael Conlon, Cornonagh, Owen Joe Woods, Kilcurry, Johnny Mulholland, Creggan, Baptisms take place every second Sunday of the month after 10.00am mass and from now on, part of the ceremony will take place in the family home as Fr Gerry or Paddy will visit to bless the family home. Confession will take place after 6.00p.m Mass on Saturdays and before Mass on First Fridays. House Blessings - Another initiative for World Meeting of Families is House Blessings, so if you would like your house blessed during Lent Gerry and Fr. Paddy are happy to oblige. Call the parochial house, Knockbridge and we’ll take it from there.
St. Patrick’s Day Mass times are as follows: Kilkerley 10.00a.m. Knockbridge 11.30am. Please note there is no Vigil Mass. Parish Penance Service for Lent (A Healing Service) you are invited to receive the grace of the Sacrament of Penance on Tuesday, March 20, at 7.30pm.
Kilkerley/Knockbridge Baptism Team meet this evening Tuesday, March 13, at 8.00p.m. in the parochial house, Knockbridge. The Pastoral Council of Kilkerley and Knockbridge meet this Thursday, March 15, at 8.00p.m. in the parochial house Knockbridge. Do This In Memory Team will meet this evening Tuesday, March 13, at 7.00p.m. in the parochial house Knockbridge to prepare for the next DTIM Mass on March 25, (Palm Sunday).
PLAYGROUND ASSOCIATION
Kilkerley Playground Association extends sincere thanks to all who supported or contributed in any way to fundraising so far, which is really appreciated and brings us closer to making the Playground a reality. Upcoming fundraisers we are excited about are a special theme night organised by Callans Bar and Restaurant coming up this month and the final event in April, which will be a highly entertaining Race Night. Main league is due to start on April 1, at home to Finbars, then away to Fechins, home to Joes,, away to Glyde, home to Plunkets, away to St Mochtas and at home to Roche in round 7. In the senior championship Group 2, its Blues, Martins, Kilkerley. U16 league starts on Monday, March 19, U14 on Wednesday, April 4, U12 on Friday, April 6. Bowls continue each Wednesday from 7.45pm to 10.00pm in the Community Centre and new members are welcome to join so do come along.
