EXCELLENT NIGHT AS TERRY ENJOYS HIS 70TH BIRTHDAY

-

ON FRIDAY night I headed for the Malt House for a rather special 70th birthday party for retired soldier Terry Brennan from Muirhevnamor and there to make sure he had an excellent night were his children Fiona, Sinead, Imelda, Pamela, John, Terry, Moira, Trevor and Tara along with a huge collection of family, relations and friends.

I was only in the door when I was told not to forget to give a special mention to Terry’s grandchildren Maria, Jennifer, Shauna, Cailum, Cara, Tierna, Shaun, Lauren, Luke and Ryan, who were all there to make the best of the night with their grandad.

I then decided to have a look round to see, who was there and first met up with Terry’s sister Brenda Cullen from Dublin, who was down with her kids Tracy and Julie, who wanted to wish him all the best on his big night and were looking forward to a major party.

After this I got talking to Terry Brennan Jnr from Hollywood, who was there with partner Chis Cross from Hollywood and they wanted to wish the main man all the best on his big night.

Not too far away I then caught up with Shane Corbett from Saltown with his wife Maria Scott also from Saltown, who wanted to wish her grandad a very happy 70th.

Making my way through the crowds I met up with Marcus Callaghan from Dunleer with is wife Sinead, who is Terry’s daughter, and he said he was there in sufferance. There were with Claire Brennan from Tallanstown and husband John and kids Lauren and Shaun, who were having a fantastic night, even if Marcus wasn’t!

Making my way over to another table I then caught up with Helen and Martin Clarke from Meadow Grove, who were with son Chris and wife Moira Clarke, who is Terry’s daughter and they were joined by Sophie Clarke from Newry Road and honorary daughter Lorraine Tinnelly from Redbarns Road, who were all on for making it a real night to remember with the birthday boy.

After this I headed over for a chat with Kevin and Angela Casey from Ardee, who were enjoying the meal along with niece Karen Geraghty from Ardee and aunty Rita Nolan from Dublin, who were up for making the best of Terry’s big night.

Not too long later I got talking to Shona Lyttle from Armagh, who was with her mum Pamela, sister Tierna and Stephen Howard from Portrush, who told me they were really enjoying the party and wanted to wish Terry a very happy birthday.

I then headed over for a quick word with Jason Dullaghan, who told me he was with Terry’s granddaughter Jennifer Scott both from Tallanstown and said the party was only just getting going.

Making my way over to another table I met up with Eddie and Imelda McGrath from Tallanstown with kids Jennifer and Maria, who wanted to wish their granda a very happy 70th.

Finally, before I departed I had the pleasure of meeting up with John and Madeline Keating, who had travelled all the way from Cork with their kids Charlene and Katelyn Kelly because Katelyn is engaged to Terry’s son Trevor and they were up for making the best of the night, but were having a few problems with the dialect, still, I don’t really thing it was going to get in the way of them having a mad night.
