Thomas Smyth, Doolargy Avenue, Muirhevnam­or, Dundalk, whose death occurred on 7 April, 2018, suddenly at the Louth Co. Hospital. Predecease­d by his dad Thomas (Rocky) and brother Garrett. He will be very sadly missed by his loving mother Anne (née Mooney), daughter Sophie, Aaliyah and Amy, their mum Susan, brothers Alan and Niall, sister Natasha, sister in-law Gaele, brother in-law Robert, nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, extended family relatives, neighbours and friends. No funeral arrangemen­ts at time of going to press.

Eddie Campbell, Greyacre Road, Dundalk, whose death occurred peacefully, on 7 April, 2018, in the tender and dedicated care of the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved son of the late Martha and Gerry and dear brother of Matt, Tommy and Pearse. He will be sadly missed by his sorrowing brothers, sisters-in-law Pauline, Goretti and Jean, nephews, nieces, grandnephe­ws, grandniece­s, relatives and friends. Reposing at the residence of his brother, Pearse, 47 Fatima Park from 7pm-10pm on Saturday and from 2pm-9pm on Sunday. Removal on Monday at 10.30am, to St. Joseph’s Church, Castletown, arriving for Mass at 11am. Funeral afterwards to St. Patrick’s Cemetery.

Frances Davis, formerly of Lis na Dara, Carrick Road, Dundalk, whose death occurred peacefully, on 6 April, 2018, in the dedicated and loving care of the nurses and staff of Sunhill Nursing Home. She will be sadly missed by her loving family, relatives and friends. Reposing at Quinn’s Funeral Home from 3pm on Sunday with removal at 5pm to The Church of the Holy Redeemer, arriving for evening prayers at 5.15pm. Funeral Mass on Monday morning at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.

Gerard Rogers, Jenkinstow­n, Dundalk, whose death occurred peacefully in the tender and dedicated care of the staff of Louth County Hospital, on 5 April, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Anna and dear father of Rosaleen, John, Gerard, Pauline, Anna and Carmel. He will be sadly missed by his sorrowing daughters, sons, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchild­ren, relatives and friends. Reposing at home from 8pm on Thursday. Removal on Saturday at 10.15am, to St. Mary’s Church, Ravensdale, arriving for Mass at 11am. Funeral afterwards to Calvary Cemetery.

Danny Hearty, Saint Nicholas Avenue, Dundalk, whose death occurred peacefully at home, on 2 April, 2018. Beloved brother of Teresa, Robert, Eileen and Mary. Danny will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his sisters, brother, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends. Reposing at the home of his sister Eileen Duffy, 6 Saint Nicholas Avenue, Dundalk, on Thursday afternoon between 2pm and 9pm. Removal on Friday morning at 10.30am walking to Saint Nicholas’ Church arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Thereafter to Saint Patrick’s Cemetery for burial.

Joseph (Joe) Bellew Snr., Doolargy Avenue, Muirhevnam­or, and formerly of Broughton Street, Dundalk, whose death occurred on 3 April, 2018, peacefully in the love and tender care of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Predecease­d by his parents Anthony and Margaret. Joe beloved husband of Mary (née O’Callaghan) and dear dad of Joseph, Amanda, Mary and Lisa. He will be very sadly missed by his wife, son, daughters, brothers Anthony and Paul, sons-in-law Ciarán, Paul and Jason, daughter-in-law Laura, 13 grandchild­ren, brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at Shevlin’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street from Wednesday morning 11am to 8pm. Removal on Thursday morning at 10.40am, driving to The Church of The Holy Family, Muirhevnam­or, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in Saint Patrick’s Cemetery, Dundalk.

Anthony McDonnell, Muff, Louth Village, whose death occurred on 3 April, 2018, peacefully at home. Anthony, beloved son of the late Peter and Manyann and brother of Philomena (Brigidine Convent, Tullow) and the late Bernadette McCabe. Deeply regretted by his sister, grandnephe­w Oisín and his wife Dolly and their children Fionn and Orlaith, brother in law Nicholas, nieces Sinéad, Bríd and Áine, nephews Nicholas and Tomás, in-laws, grandniece­s, grandnephe­ws, relatives and friends. Reposing at his home from 2pm on Thursday with removal at 6pm to the Church of Immaculate Conception, Louth, arriving for evening prayer at 6.30pm. Funeral Mass on Friday at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
