Knockbridge WMOF team are organising a family day to take place on Sunday, May 6, from noon to 4.00pm in the Community Centre, Kilkerley. Prayer, Sport, Music, Bouncy Castles, Face Painting and much more. The Finance Committee meet this Thursday at 8.30p.m. Joint Parish Pastoral Council meet on Tuesday, April 17, at 7.30pm. The Local WMOF Team meet on Wednesday, April 18, at 8.00p.m.

PLAYGROUND ASSOCIATION

Fundraiser event this month, will be a highly entertaining Race Night in the Lisdoo Arms on Friday, April 20. Entry is via sponsoring/buying a horse, jockey or trainer for €10. REFERENDUM

In preparation for the referendum on May 25, when the electorate will be asked if they wish to repeal the 8th Amendment which will allow the Dáil to legislate for unrestricted abortion up to 12 weeks, there will be 12 hours of prayer in all churches in our pastoral area on Tuesday, May 8, from 8.00am. to 8.00pm. During that time there will be exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and people are invited to pray for the protection of life from the first moment of conception to natural death. Mass will be celebrated in Knockbridge at 8.00am. and in Kilkerley at 8.00pm.
