O Raghallaig­h’s stage comeback

O Raghallaig­hs made it two wins out of two with a thrilling comeback at home to St Fechins.

The visitors took the lead through Ronan Holcroft after two minutes and although the hosts levelled, the Fechins upped the pace and points from Holcroft and Niall Devlin were followed by a goal from Holcroft in the sixth minute to open up a gap between the teams.

The home team replied with a goal from Alan Doyle but before the break Niall Devlin hit the net for the Fechins to give them a 2-7 to 1-3 lead at half time.

The home team started the second half with a strong wind, but St Fechins were first to get off the mark with a point in the second minute point from Jamie King, that was the last score from the visitors until the 25 minute.

O Raghallaig­hs took control of the match from the seventh minute to the 24th minute with five points and a goal from Ben Rogan to take the lead. In a tense finale a late point sealed victory for the O Raghallaig­hs.
