Philomena (Phil) Joyce (née Joyce), Grange Drive, Muirhevnam­or, Dundalk, whos death occurred on 15 April, 2018, peacefully in the loving care of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. Predecease­d by her husband Patrick. Very deeply regretted by her loving family, brothers Michael and John-Joe (Manchester), sisters Winnie, Nora and Tommy Bradley and their sons Martin, Hughie, Thomas and Scott, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at Shevlin’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street, from Monday 12 noon to 8pm. Removal on Tuesday morning at 10.40am driving to her late residence in Grange Drive for 10.50am then proceeding on foot to The Church of The Holy Family, Muirhevnam­or, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in Saint Patrick’s Cemetery, Dundalk.

Rory Coan, Riverwell Close, Toberona, Dundalk, whose death occurred on 13 April, 2018. Beloved son of Bob and May and dear brother of Robert and Rodney. He will be sadly missed by his sorrowing parents, brothers, sisters-in-law Aoife and Adrienne, nephews Rory, Darragh and Zak, nieces Robyn and Mia, his relatives and friends. Brenda Doherty, 26 Fatima Court, Dundalk, whose death occurred peacefully, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, on 14 April, 2018. Beloved daughter of the late Ned and Kate and dear sister of Maura, Pat, Eamonn and Mairead. She will be sadly missed by her sorrowing sisters, brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, uncle James, nieces, grandnephe­ws, grandniece­s, relatives and friends. Reposing at home from 2pm-9pm on Sunday and Monday. Removal on Tuesday at 10.30am, to St. Joseph’s Church, Castletown, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Niall (Niddler) McCabe, Seaview, Cocklehill, Blackrock, whose death occurred on 13 April, 2018, suddenly at his residence. Niall beloved husband of Catriona (née Coakley) and cherished dad of Vanessa and Stephanie and dear son of Mary and loving granda of Hazel. Predecease­d by his dad Gerry and sister Caroline, He will be very sadly missed by his heartbroke­n wife, daughters, mother, grand-daughter, brothers and sisters Mickey, Geraldine, Sean, Loretta, Majella, Bernie, Claire, Anita and Edel, brothers and sisters in-law, uncle Bensie, aunt Ann, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family relatives, wonderful neighbours and friends. Kenneth (Ken) McKenna, Griffith Place, and formerly of Mountpleas­ant and Point Road, Dundalk, whose death occurred on 13 April, 2018, suddenly at his residence. Predecease­d by his parents Eddie and Maura, brothers Thomas, Pearse and Eamonn. He will be very sadly missed by his loving family, sons Ciaran and Christophe­r, daughters Terina and Carla and their mother Teresa (née O’Kane), son inlaw Tom, grandson Rowan, brothers Michael, Eugene, Seamus, Oliver, Robert, Francis and Aidan, sisters Rachael, Catherine, Mary, Geraldine, Briege and Monica, brothers and sisters in-law, mother and father in-law Rita and Eugene O’Kane, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family relatives, neighbours and friends. Sr Brigid Conroy, Cape Town, South Africa, and formerly Carrickmul­len, Knockbridg­e, whose death occurred peacefully on 12 April, 2018, in the loving care of the Dominican Sisters, Cape Town. Sr Brigid, beloved daughter of the late Tom and Catherine, and dear sister of Nan Casey, Mary Kinch (Surrey), James, Eileen Byrne (Rotherham), Pauline Holland, Fergus, and the late Pat, Margaret Faulkner, Kathleen McAdam and Chlora Geraghty. Deeply regretted by her religious sisters, brothers, sisters, brother in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Funeral and burial will take place in Cape Town.

John Eaton, Georgian Close, Drogheda, and formerly of Dublin Street, Dundalk, whose death occurred at his home on 12 April, 2018. John, beloved husband of Mary and loving dad to Paul, Barry, Laura and Susan and grandfathe­r of the late Liam. Patrick (Billy) Linden, Courtbane, Shelagh, Dundalk, and Crossmagle­n, Co. Armagh, whose death occurred on 11 April, 2018, peacefully at Our Lady Of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda with his loving family by his side. Devoted husband of Eileen. Cherished father of Teresa and Brian. Dear brother of Rose. Billy will repose at his home from 12 noon on Friday afternoon. Olive Martin, Fatima Drive, Dundalk, whose death occurred peacefully, after a long illness, at the home of her dear sister Majella surrounded by her heartbroke­n family. Beloved daughter of the late Maura and Paul, cherished sister of Briege, Mary, Paul, Leo, Gerard, Pauline, Anthony, Elaine, Marcia, Loretta and Majella. Cathy Duffy, 572 Ashling Park, Cox’s Demesne, Dundalk, whose death occurred on 11 April, 2018, peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Predecease­d by her baby son Christophe­r, parents Peter and Alice (Allie), Cathy will be sadly missed by her heartbroke­n daughters Michelle, Rachel and Courtney, grandchild­ren Rebekah, Allie, Kai and Scarlett, sons-in-law Gavin and Barry, Peter Stewart, extended family relatives, wonderful friends and neighbours. Elizabeth (Bess) Kieran (née McDonnell), Kilcroney, Readypenny, Dundalk, whose death occurred on 11 April, 2018, suddenly, in her 92nd year, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Joe and dear mother of Mary (McCabe), Brendan, Helen (Lennon), Joe, Michael, Linda (McArdle) and John. Ellen McDonagh, Drive 1, Muirhevnam­or, Dundalk, whose death occurred peacefully, in the kind and gentle care of the staff at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, 10 April, 2018. Ellen will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her children, extended family, neighbours and friends. Reposing at Dixon’s Funeral Home, Maxwell Row, Bridge Street, on Wednesday, between 6pm and 8pm and on Thursday afternoon between 2pm and 8pm. Removal on Friday morning at 10.30am to the Church of the Holy Family, Muirhevnam­or, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Thereafter to Saint Patrick’s Cemetery for burial.

Tony O’Callaghan, Liverpool, England and formerly of Fatima Drive, Dundalk, whose death occurred on 6 April, 2018, peacefully in Liverpool. Predecease­d by his parents Kevin and Stella. Tony will be sadly missed by his loving family, wife Gyen, sister Moira, uncle Dessie, aunts Bernadette and Elaine, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family relatives and friends in Liverpool and his home town of Dundalk. Tony’s funeral will take place in Liverpool.

Kenneth Robert Pearson, Oyster Cove, Millgrange, Carlingfor­d, and late of London, whose death occurred peacefully, on 10 April, 2018, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Beloved husband of Anna and dear father of Justin and Sarah.
