Eileen Larkin (née Quilton), St Malachy’s Villas, Dundalk, whose death occurred on 27 May, 2018, peacefully, in the wonderful care of Dealgan House Nursing Home. Predecease­d by her late husband Tom, parents Sarah Jane and Joseph (Broughten St), loving mother of David. Deeply regretted by her son, relatives and friends. Reposing at Dealgan House Nursing Home from 3pm to 7pm on Monday. Removal on Tuesday morning at 10.40am to Church of the Holy Redeemer, arriving for Mass at 11am. Burial in St Patrick’s Cemetery.

Muriel Neary (nee Martin), Mayne Road, Castlebell­ingham, whose death occurred on 26 May, 2018, peacefully, in the care of the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Bernard and dear mother of Martin and Amanda. She will be sadly missed by her loving son, daughter, daughter-in-law Geraldine, sonin-law Pat, grandchild­ren Denise, Belinda, Jason and Páraic, great-grandchild­ren Scott and Emelia, brothers Micheal and John, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at home from 2pm8pm on Monday. Removal on Tuesday at 10.15am, to St. Mary’s Church, Kilsaran, arriving for Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Patrick (Paddy) Smyth, Main Street, Blackrock (The Brake), whose death occurred peacefully in the Lourdes Hospital, on 27 May, 2018. Patrick, beloved father of Paul and Helen (Harry) and the late Patrick, loving partner of Kay and dear grandfathe­r of Conor, Emily and Conall, brother of Kitty, Ann, Josephine and Brian and the late Maureen, George and Noel. Deeply regretted by his son, daughter, partner, grandchild­ren, son in law Gavin, daughter in law Anita, Kate the mother of his children, brother, sisters, sisters in law, brothers in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends. Reposing at McGeough’s Funeral Home from 4pm to 8pm on Tuesday. Removal on Wednesday morning from his home (The Brake) at 10.45am to St Oliver Plunkett Church, Blackrock, arriving for Mass at 11am. Burial in St Fursey’s Cemetery, Haggardsto­wn.

Michael (Mick) Ward, ‘ Tara’ Castleblan­ey Road, Dundalk (Ecco), and formerly of Meenbannad and Belcruit, Co. Donegal, whose death occurred peacefully, in St Oliver Plunkett Hospital, on 27 May, 2018. Michael, beloved husband of Mary and dear father of MaryE, Sadie and Elizabeth, son Eugene. Deeply regretted by his, daughters, son, grandchild­ren, sons-in-law Seamais, Austin and Colin, daughter-inlaw Annmarie, sisters Susi and Sheila, brother-in-law Vincent, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at his home from 12 noon to 9pm on Monday. Departing for Donegal on Tuesday morning with prayers at 10am. Reposing at McGlynn’s Funeral home, Chapel Rd, Dungloe, Co. Donegal from 3pm on Tuesday with rosary at 9pm.

Stephen McKenna, Barrack Mews, Barrack Street and formerly of Lower Point Road, Dundalk, whose death occurred on 25 May, 2018, suddenly at his residence Barrack Mews, Dundalk. Stephen, beloved son of Eugene and Pauline and dear dad of Kelly and James. He will be very sadly missed by his loving parents, daughter, son, brother Davy, sisters Charlotte and Yvonne, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins extended family relatives, neighbours and friends. No funeral arrangemen­ts at time of going to press.

Gerry Scorr, late of Wolfe Tone Terrace, Dundalk, whose death occurred on 24 May, 2018, peacefully, in the care of the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Beloved son of the late Frederick and Sadie and brother of Damien and Seanie. Deeply regretted by his brothers, nieces and nephew Annemarie, Deborah, Gary and their partners, grandnephe­ws and grandniece­s and his many friends in the Dundalk Simon Community and St. Oliver Plunkett’s Community Unit.

Michael Gerard (Gerry) Conlan, 52 Dowdallshi­ll, Dundalk, whose death occurred peacefully, at home, on 24 May, 2018. Gerry, (Grafton Shoes, Dundalk Shopping Centre), beloved husband of Marie and dear father of Jane and John. He will be sadly missed by his sorrowing wife, daughter, son, son-in-law Ray, daughter-in-law Heli, grandchild­ren Conall, Dearbhaile, Finn and Seán, sister Dympna (Rice), brothers-in-law Brian (Lever) and Johnny (Kiernan), nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Predecease­d by his brothers Pat and Finn and sisters Bernie, Imelda and Eileen.

John Henry (Harry) Connolly, Bettystown, Co. Meath, and formerly Dundalk, and Portmarnoc­k, (retired SC), whose death occurred peacefully at his home surrounded by his family, on 24 May, 2018. Predecease­d by his father John and mother Annie (nee Eastwood), brothers Dr. Peter and Dr. Noel. Much loved husband of Pauline (nee O’ Higgins) and dear father of Sharon and John Boyd and devoted brother to his only sister, Bernadine. Respected Grandad to Daniel, Dean, Dylan, Alex and Andrea, sadly missed by son-in-law Peter (Curtis), daughter-in-law Jill (Barrett), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

John Dixon, 75 Saint Nicholas Avenue, Dundalk, whose death occurred peacefully, on 22 May, 2018, in the kind and gentle care of the doctors and nurses at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, surrounded by his loving family. Predecease­d by his parents Tommy and Cassie beloved husband of Kitty and cherished father of Susan, Steven, Lisa and Laura. John will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife, children, grandchild­ren and great-grandsons, brothers, sisters, niece’s, nephew’s, extended family neighbours and friends.

Kitty (Catherine) Gribben (née O’Hare), 99 Castletown Road, Dundalk, whose death occurred peacefully at home on 21 May, 2018, in the loving arms of her family. Beloved wife of the late Jimmy (James) and cherished mother of Yvonne and Paula. Kitty will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her daughters, grandsons Joshua and Nathan, brother Pat, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Margaret (Peggy) McAdam (née Martin), St Brigid’s, Dublin Road, (Martin’s shop, Clanbrassi­l Street), whose death occurred peacefully at her home on 20 May, 2018. Peggy beloved wife of the late Robert and dear mother of Rosemary (Mamie) Warren, Pat, Jim, Margaret and late Robbie. Deeply regretted by her daughters, sons, grandchild­ren Eamonn, Niamh, Caoimhe, Jean, Susan, Cara, Siobhan, Orla, Evan, Ruth, Robert, Sarah, Michelle and Fionnuala, 13 great grandchild­ren, daughters-in-law Maria, Joan and Carolyn, son-in-law, Colm, sister-in-law Ena, nephews, nieces and many friends.
