DAVID O’Shea, Greystones, Co. Wicklow and formerly of Dundalk and 2 James Square, Tower Street, Cork, whose death occurred on 22 June, 2018, peacefully at home in Greystones, surrounded by his family. Late of ESB. Winner of F.A.I. Minor Cup with Tower Rovers in 1955. Loving husband of the late Phyllis (née Flood) and much-loved father of Orla, Aisling, Sharon and Aoife. Caring grandfathe­r to Luke, Sebastian, Colm, Mia, Kate and Kerrie. David will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his daughters, grandchild­ren, sons-in-law, brother Tommy, close friends and family. Removal on 26 June to Saint Nicholas Church, Dundalk arriving for 1 o’clock Funeral Mass. Thereafter driving to Saint Patrick’s Cemetery for burial.

Joseph Rice, St. Daigh’s Terrace, Inniskeen, whose death occurred suddenly on 23 June, 2018. Beloved husband of Orla and adored dad of Conor, Meredith and Charlie. He will be sadly missed by his wife, children, parents Patrick and Deirdre, brothers Michael and Patrick, grandfathe­rs Jim and Owen, brother-in-law, sisters-inlaw, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. No funeral arrangemen­ts at time of going to press.

Eamon McKenna, 31 Forest Park, Dromintee, Co. Armagh and formerly of Ballybarra­ck, Knockbridg­e, whose death occurred peacefully, on 22 June, 2018, at Belfast City Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Bridie and cherished father of Michelle, Ciaran, Cathal, Donal, Darren and Nicole, son of the late Eddie. Will be dearly missed by his mother Kathleen, brother Denis, sonin-law Neil and mother-in-law Moira. Much loved grandfathe­r of Darren, Christophe­r and Tadhg. Reposing in his late home until removal on 25 June at 11:15am for 12 noon requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Dromintee. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sorrowing wife, sons, daughters, mother, brother, son-inlaw, mother-in-law, grandchild­ren and a wide circle of family and friends.

Ann (Nan) Sharkey (née Ludlow), Thistle Cross, Mountpleas­ant, Dundalk, whose death occurred peacefully, on 23 June, 2018, in the tender and dedicated care of the staff of Dealgan House Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late John and dear mother of Jimmy, Ann, Eileen, Briege, Patricia, Kathleen, John, Michael, Paul and Nicholas. She will be sadly missed by her sorrowing sons, daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brother Kevin, sister Eileen (Fox), grandchild­ren, great-grandchild­ren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Predecease­d by her parents James and Annie and brothers Seamus, Paddy and Barney and sister Kathleen. Reposing at home from 12 noon on Sunday and Monday. Removal on Tuesday at 10.15am, to St. Mary’s Church, Ravensdale, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Calvary Cemetery. House private on Tuesday morning, please.

Caroline Navarro (née McArdle), Milestown, Castlebell­ingham, whose death occurred peacefully, on 21 June, 2018, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Beloved wife of the late Ramon. She will be sadly missed by her sorrowing sisters Elizabeth (Lily), Patty and Sheila, brother Owen, brothers-in-law Joe, Seán, John and Antonia, sister-in-law Carmen, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Joseph (Joe) Toal, Muchgrange, Greenore, whose death occurred on 22 June, 2018, peacefully, in the tender care of the staff at Carlingfor­d Nursing Home. Very deeply regretted by his beloved wife Betty, nephews Frank, Turlough, Brian and Terry and all his relatives, neighbours and friends.

Brian Conlon, 1 The Paddock, Mount Avenue, Dundalk, whose death occurred in Spain on 19 June, 2018. Beloved husband of Evelyn and dear father of Julie, Orla and Tracey. He will be sadly missed by his sorrowing wife, daughters, sons-in-law Kasper, Duane and Oskar, grandchild­ren Leah, Max, Zoe and Ryan, brother Seán, sister Margaret, sister-in-law, brothers-inlaw, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Predecease­d by his sisters Bridie, Nuala and Kathleen.

Paddy Hoey, Garrybawn, Tom Bellew Avenue and formerly of Yorke Street, Dundalk, whose death occurred on 8 June, 2018, tragically, following an accident in Dover, England. Predecease­d by his parents Jimmy and Bernadette (late of Yorke Street), Paddy will be very sadly missed by his loving family, sister Marie DuffyTrayn­or, brothers Seamus, Cyril, Gabe, Michael and Liam, brother in-law Pat, sisters-in-law Debbie and Helen, aunt May Callan, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, relatives, his work colleagues in Carna Transport, neighbours and friends.

Philomena Tuite (née Fitzpatric­k), Williamsto­wn, Castlebell­ingham, whose death occurred, in her 70th year, peacefully at Moorehall Lodge, Drogheda, on 19 June, 2018. Philomena, beloved wife of Tom and loving mother of Rita, Colm, Aidan, Thomas, Mairead and Emma. Sadly missed by her husband, sons, daughters, grandchild­ren, brothers, sisters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

John Flood, Dublin, Dundalk and formerly of The Irish Defence Forces, whose death occurred on 18 June, 2018, unexpected­ly but peacefully. John, beloved son of the late Nellie and Patrick and brother of the late Patrick. He will be sadly missed by his brother Michael, sister Joan, brotherin-law John, nieces and nephews Karen, Emer, Patrick, David, Catherine, Jennifer and Dylan, his Defence Forces colleagues, extended family and his many friends and neighbours both in Dublin and Dundalk.

Kathleen McGuinness (née Myles), 9 Aghameen Park, Dundalk, and Scariff, Co. Clare, whose death occurred peacefully on 19 June, 2018, in the tender and dedicated care of the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Beloved wife of Teddy and dear mother of Clive, Donna, Denise, Edward, Eugene, Mark and Mandy. She will be sadly missed by her sorrowing sons, daughters, grandchild­ren, great-grandchild­ren, brothers, sisters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, great neighbours, relatives and many friends.

Carmel O’Reilly (née Logan), Skerries, Co. Dublin and formerly of Dundalk, whose death occurred on 17 June, 2018, peacefully, at Rush Nursing Home surrounded by her family, following a long illness, bravely borne, in the wonderful care of the staff of Rush Nursing Home. Predecease­d by her parents Jack and Agnes, her brothers John, Frank, Peter and Jim, sisters Ann and Mary.
