ST. BRIDE’S LADIES GFC
Féile Peile 2018 is coming to Knockbridge! St. Bride’s LGFC are delighted to be hosting Féile 2018. The club will welcome the Scotland U- 14 girls team this weekend, June 28–July 1. The Scottish girls will be hosted by our club’s U14 girls’ families. Teams will play at least four matches in the annual international Féile competition. We wish all teams the very best of luck for this momentous occasion. Knockbridge, no doubt, will afford the visitors a huge Céad Míle Fáilte!

HURLING
Knockbridge hurlers beat Naomh Moninne 4-12 to 3-9 in the Special Hurling League on Friday last and play the same opposition at home this Saturday evening at 5.00pm in the Tain League. Well done to Ronan Byrne on his Poc Fada qualification winner.

Blessing of Graves takes place on Sunday, August 19, at 11.30am. Prayer meetings begin in the Church on Thursday, July 5 at 8.00pm. Grass cutting continues this Thursday evening in the graveyard from 7.00pm to 9.00pm.
CANCER SOCIETY
The Irish Cancer Society is looking for volunteers in the Louth, Cavan, Monaghan and Meath areas to drive patients to and from their treatments in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda and the Dublin hospitals. Volunteer drivers will pick a patient up at the door of their home, drive them to the door of the hospital and then when finished treatment, pick them up and drop them home again.
