Line-up for Arcadian Field 2018 festival announced

THE line-up for this year’s Arcadian Field festival, which takes place at Bellurgan Park over the August bank holiday weekend, has been announced.

This small independen­t music and arts festival is now in its third year, and once again it is bringing together an enticing mix of internatio­nal, national and local performers.

Among the overseas visitors gracing the woodland stages, the Secredt Garden and Drawing Room are the Kitchen Machine from Italy, Dominic Jones and The Turbans from the UK.

There’s an impressive line-up of homegrown acts including Blackbird & Crow, Pine the Pilcrow, Inni-K, Lemoncello, The Twisted Sisters, The Mary Wallopers, with Accidents in the Workplace, Alfi, Jinx Lennon, Just Mustard, Couch Crew,L-arry, Nix Moon, Third Smoke and TPM keeping the local flag flying.

There will also be an accompanyi­ng programme of talks, readings, poetry, comedy, theatre, and visual arts by both local and visiting contributo­rs.

The festival’s idyllic setting lends itself to taking time out to enjoy both the music and creative events and experienci­ng the Irish countrysid­e at its best.

For those planning on enjoying a laid back weekend of music, creativity and artisan food, if you act quickly, tier one tickets at €65 are available until July 1st. After that the price goes up to €75. 2
