Big turnout for dinner dance

-

OVER a hundred people attended a dinner dance hosted by ALONE, the charity that supports older people to age at home, in the Lisdoo Bar and Restaurant, Dundalk, recently. EVERYONE enjoyed a delicious meal and danced the afternoon away. Music was provided by the Men’s Shed choir, the Parlour Ladies choir and local musician Paddy Byrne.

Organising social events such as this is one of the actions undertaken by ALONE to help combat loneliness among older people, especially those living alone.
