BIRTHDAY GIRL WORKS AS A BEAUTICIAN LOCALLY

-

ONE party I certainly wasn’t going to miss over the weekend was Lauren Agnew from Doylesfort Grove’s 21st which took place in the Lisdoo on Friday night and a huge crowd were there to celebrate with her.

Lauren who works as a beautician and masseuse in the Carnbeg Hotel was there with parents Loretta and Paul, sister Robyn, nannies Lena McGuinness from Muirhevnamor and Rose Agnew from Doylesfort Grove and boyfriend Sean Matthews from Mountain View and a huge collection of relations and friends.

I decided to have a look to see who was up for making a night of it and caught up with sister Robyn who was with Megan Hearty from Long Avenue, Andrea Daly from Kilkerley and Hannah Mulligan from Doylesfort Grove who assured me it was going to be a great night for them.

After this I headed over for a word with Conor Mackin from Toberona who told me girlfriend Rachel Myles from Faughart is Lauren’s cousin and they were going to make it a super night with Kelvin Kelly from Manydown Close and John Dolan from Annagassan.

Also up near the bar I then got taking to cousins Gavin Breen from Channonrock and Niall Breen from Knockbridge who said that they were schoolmates of Lauren’s and assured me it was going to be anything but a quiet celebration.

Not too far away I caught up with cousins Maria Clarke from America and Samantha Finnegan from Blackrock who were having a chat with uncle Ian Myles from Faughart who all wanted to wish Lauren all the best and hope all her wishes come true.

Great to see Ian out, he was with his wife aunty Christina, daughter Rachel and boyfriend Conor, son Stephen and girlfriend Lauren McCluskey and was up for making the best of the party.

Meanwhile back up near the bar I got talking to Fergal Sheekey from Bay Estate who was with Lauren’s friend Dara Savage from Kilcurry and they were ready for a major party.

Not too long later I had the pleasure of speaking to Rebecca Sweeney from Demesne Road and Tara Lewis from Manydown Close who told me they’d met Lauren through mutual friends and become close mates ever since.

After this I met up with cousin Craig Gray from Woodville Manor who was with Ryan McGeown from Greenwood Drive and they were joined by Craig’s sister Nicole and parents Peter and Patricia Gray from Woodville Manor who tried to tell me it wasn’t going to be a major night of celebrations!

Heading across the dancefloor I then met up with Alex Defratyka from Lisdoo and Saorla Duffy from Garrybawn who are good mates of Lauren’s and were in form to make sure it turned into an epic party.

Not too long later I got a word with Alan Flood from Rockfield Court and Megan Carroll from Lis Na Dara who were joined by Dylan Quigley from Bay Estate and Sean McGuinness from The Quay who are mates of Sean’s and wanted to wish the birthday girl all the best, as did Kayleigh Murtagh from Beechmount Drive and Nancy Waller from Carrick Road.

Finally I got talking to nanny Lena McGuinness from Muirhevnamor who was with her sister Ida Shields and daughter Sandra who wanted to wish her cousin all the best on her 21st.
