Laura celebrates her 21st in stylish party

-

ON Saturday night I headed for Toales Marquee where a special 21st birthday party was being held for Laura Rahill from Aclint and there to make sure she had a fantastic night were parents Phillis and Gerry, brothers Chris, Aidan, Donal and Kirk, boyfriend

Paul Garvey and a huge collection of family and friends.

I wasn’t too long in the door when I met up with Laura who was looking stunning, she is in 4th year in Maynooth studying Science Education and wanted to thank everyone for coming to the party.

Not too long later I caught up with her brother Chris who introduced me to Ignacio Garcia from Espania who was staying with the family and by all accounts was learning a very stylised version of English while he was there!

Also in their company were Thomas Marron from Carrick Road and Cathal Marry from Meathill who wanted to wish Laura all the best on her big night

Just arrived in the door were Tommy and Imelda Mulholland from Reaghstown who wanted to wish their neighbour all the best on her 21st celebrations.

I then got a word with Charlie, Valerie, Conor, Sarah and Liam Mohan from Aclint who also wanted to wish their neighbour a very happy 21st.

Valerie was having a chat with Laura’s parents Gerry and Phillis who were enjoying the meal and assured me it was going to be a great night (when I left, I thought).

I then headed over for a chat with Leah Murray from Reaghstown who was with Fiachra Sheridan from Tallanstown who told me that Leah had been friends with Laura since Primary School. They were enjoying a laugh with Paul’s mum Yvonne Garvey who was looking well and ready to make the best of the Dundalk style celebrations.

After this I got a word with Dylan Muldoon from Manydown who was with girlfriend Niamh Beggy also from Manydown who told me both she and Laura had been in the Cross-Border Orchestra together and have been mates for ages, so they certainly weren’t going to miss her 21st.

Just arrived in the door was Laura’s uncle Philip Kirk who was in the company of aunt Estelle Shanley who had travelled all the way from Palm Springs specially to be there on the night and was in the company of her friend Peter Drumm who were looking forward to the party.

Finally before I departed I met up with Niamh Conroy from Lordship who was looking really well and was delighted that Estelle and Peter had made it with Philip and wanted to wish Laura a very happy 21st.
