Autumn Evening Courses at the Regional Skills & Training Centre

LEARNING a new skill or developing an existing skill can be so rewarding. You can meet new friends, who share the same interests, and gain a certificat­e in a relatively short time. The Regional Skills & Training Centre is the ideal choice for learners seeking an evening course. We are centrally located on the Coes Road Dundalk, with a wide variety of amenities and facilities on your doorstep.

Are you new to our evening courses? Then let us help you to take the first step on your learning journey. You may want to learn new skills, develop your career or just meet people allowing you to balance work and life. The popularity of our courses is a testament to the success of our courses and the high level of interest that our learners have in education.

Our courses are offered in either a 10 week or a 5 week block. Times are from 6:00pm to 9:30pm usually one evening per week, however some courses offer two evenings per week depending on the course duration. Our courses are delivered by profession­al experience­d tutors. Additional supports are available from our Adult Guidance Counsellor­s and dedicated support staff.

We are offering the following suite of accredited Evening courses by QQI, City & Guilds, Microsoft, ECDL, iSkills, ILM and EIS.

Business Management, Computing, Finance, Work Place Safety, Welding, Table Design & Constructi­on, Vehicle Maintenanc­e. Our Evening courses prices include certificat­ion costs and are available to fee paying clients. For people who are currently on the live register and for those in receipt of other social welfare payments fees may be waivered. The courses are subject to a minimum number enrolling on each course. Classes are open to all adults (over 16 years of age) and fees must be paid on enrolment. RSTC can also provide a wide range of short, specifical­ly tailored profession­al developmen­t courses designed to meet the needs of industry. This training can be adapted to meet your company needs and can be held on site or in the Training Centre.

Our Autumn Evening Courses Informatio­n Sessions will be held in the Regional Skills & Training Centre, Coes Road, Dundalk from 4th to 6th September from 10:00am to 4:00pm. With late registrati­on on Wednesday 5th September 2018 between 6:00pm and 8:00pm where you can discuss your course options with staff and course tutors to allow you to make informed decisions regarding your training opportunit­ies.

We are currently accepting applicatio­ns for September, details on all our courses are on our website or you can now enrol online for an evening course at the RSTC just click on www. rstc.ie - courses and search for the particular course then apply on line following instructio­ns given. Courses are due to commence the week of the 18th September.
