EMMETS GFC
The senior team lost against Geraldines on Friday last in Darver in the Division 1/2 Promotion/Relegation Play-off final 2-8 to 0-9. Scorers: Tadgh McEneaney 0-4, Shane Lennon 0-3, James Fegan, Sean Hand 0-1 each. This Friday, they play them again in Darver in championship relegation play off at 8.30pm.
Kilkerley Naomh Malachi U16 team lost in the Division 1, Group 4 championship play- off game on Wednesday last away to Mattock/Hunterstown 4-6 to 3-11. In very wet conditions the team put in a tremendous performance but were just caught short at the end. The team mentors would like to acknowledge the great work put in by the players since last January and to thank parents for their involvement over the year. The U13 team lost at home 1-7 to 2-8 against Cuchulainn Gaels and play on Monday next, September 17 against O’Raghallaighs at 6.30pm. The minors play away to St Pats this Wednesday at 7.00pm.
The U15 boys play this Friday, September 14, away to St Kevins at 6.30pm.
The U16 Girls team ended level 2-11 to 4-5 away to Blues. at 6.45pm.
The U12 Girls won away to Tones 2-7 to 2-6 and play away in the championship this Thursday at 6.45pm to St Marys and the following Thursday are at home to Hunterstown at 6.45pm.
The U14 girls won away to St Kevins 4-7 to 2-5 and beat St Pats in the league semi final 3-7 to 2-6.
The juvenile fundraising Flag Day is this Friday, September 14, so please give your name in to the club for a 2 hour slot selling on the day.
BADMINTON
Fr Paddy has badminton for adults starting in the Community Centre on Thursday nights from September 20, at 8.00pm. All over 18 welcome.

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament takes place each Friday from 6.30p.m.-7.30p.m.

Baptisms take place every second Sunday of the month at 10.00am mass. Confession will take place after 6.00p.m Mass on Saturdays and before Mass on First Fridays.
The Annual Triduum in honour of St. Therese takes place in Kilkerley on September 29/30/ October 1, her feast day. One day Retreat to Lough Derg takes place this Saturday, September 8. Bus from Kilsaran, which stops at Friary, Dundalk and also along the way. Cost is €45 on to then island including boat, tea and lunch. Bus fare is a separate charge.
Kilkerley Knockbridge Parish Pastoral Council need new members from late next month so if you are interested in serving the 3 year term please contact Fr Gerry or Fr Paddy.
The next Family Tree Healing Mass will be celebrated in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, on Monday next, September 10, at 8.00p.m.
Prayer for inner healing will take place in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, on Saturday, September 15, from 2.00pm to 6.00p.m. Please make an appointment with Fr. Gerry if you wish to avail of this ministry.
This Friday, September 7, is the first Friday of the month so Fr. Paddy will visit the sick and housebound on that day.
The Combined Parish Pastoral Council meet on Tuesday next, September 11, at 8.00p.m. The Combined Parish Baptism Team meet on Monday, September 17, at 8.00p.m.
