Cooley onto pin Under 15 League match

Cooley Kickhams won this under 15 league division 1 game with Dundalk Young Irelands/St Mochtas by 3-13 to 2-6. At half time they led by 3-6 to 1-2.

Cooley Girls reach Under 12 Championsh­ip Final

The Cooley Kickhams under 12 girls team are through to the under 12 championsh­ip final when they came out on top in their semi final against St. Fechins by 2-9 to 0-2.

The match was played in Fr. McEvoy Park.

Shield Semi-Final win for Cooley Girls Under 16s

Cooley Kickhams girls won this shield semi final of the u16 championsh­ip against Glenn Emmets by 4-12 to 4-4. At half time it was a draw, 3-3 each.

Kick ha ms Lotto Jackpot €8,200

The Cooley Kickhams Lotto draw took place on Monday night last, September 24.

There was a jackpot of €8,000 on offer but the numbers were not matched and the jackpot was not won. The numbers drawn were 2, 11, 17 and 29.

The jackpot for this week’s draw is €8,200.

Heritage Centre Concert

The John Byrne Band will take to the stage in the Carlingfor­d Heritage Centre on Saturday October 20, commencing at 8pm. The band is led by Dublin native and Philadelph­ia-based John Byrne.

The Carlingfor­d/Omeath parish lotto draw took place on Tuesday last, September , for a jackpot of €14,550.

The numbers drawn were 3, 4, 7 and 23 but the jackpot was not won. The ‘match three’ winners were; M. Halpenny, A. Elmore, M. Clerkin and M. Grimshaw.

The jackpot for this week’s draw is €14,700.

Omeath District Developmen­t would like to remind anyone over the age of 65 that would like the security of having a monitored Personal Alarm Pendant to get in touch. You can also get in touch if you are a carer or have a family member over 65 that you feel would benefit from having a personal alarm system.

Anne from the Dolmen Centre will be available at the Post Office in Omeath on Friday morning September 28 to assist with applicatio­n forms.

Cuchulainn Gaels Lotto at€20,000

The Cuchulainn Gaels lotto draw took place on Wednesday night last September 26.

The numbers drawn were 6, 12, 16 and 18 but these did not produce a winner of the top prize of €20,000. There were three ‘match three’ winners, Natalie Duffy, Kathleen O’Hanlon and Audrey Rafferty. who each receive €40.

This week’s draw takes place on Wednesday October 3 in Cornamuckl­agh House for a jackpot of €20,000. The new reserve jackpot is €15,100.

Cooley Hall Bingo

The weekly bingo sessions continue every Wednesday night in St. Mary’s Parochial Hall, Cooley.

The starting time is 8 30pm. The total prize money on the night is €1,570. A book cost €6 and flyers are €2 each. Everyone is welcome!
