Local business helping Shoe Box Appeal this Christmas
A Local business is putting its right foot forward and helping the Team Hope Christmas shoe box appeal this year.
The Dundalk Foot Clinic is going to donate €10 to the show box appeal for every new patient that makes an appointment at their Roden Place clinic between now and November 5.
Team Hope gives Christmas Shoebox gifts right into the hands of some of the world’s most vulnerable children – many of whom will receive no other gift this Christmas.
Every year they distribute shoe boxes to children in Eastern Europe, the former Soviet Union and Africa.
The boxes, often the first Christmas gifts the children have ever received, typically contain a selection of items such as stationary for school, soap, toothbrushes and toothpaste, hats, gloves, scarves, and a treat such as a small toy, sweets or musical instrument.
