Man (70) found in Gosling Terrace died of a heart attack

The 70-year-old man whose body was discovered at a stream at Gosling Terrace to the rear of Hill Street on Saturday, October 6 died of natural causes.

A post mortem has determined that Gerard Crosson of Mourneview on the Dublin Road died suddenly of a heart attack.

Gardaí were notified of his remains being found at around 12.30pm. He was subsequent­ly taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda where a post mortem took place.

Mr Crosson was predecease­d by his parents Molly and James and brother Ronan. He will be sadly missed by his loving family Seán, Séamus, Noeleen, Ciarán and Colm, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law and his circle of friends.

Gerard reposed at his residence, Mourneview, Dublin Road, Dundalk last Wednesday. A Celebratio­n of Life Ceremony was held in his residence on Thursday followed by removal to Glasnevin Crematoriu­m for Cremation.
