Man (70) found in Gosling Terrace died of a heart attack
The 70-year-old man whose body was discovered at a stream at Gosling Terrace to the rear of Hill Street on Saturday, October 6 died of natural causes.
A post mortem has determined that Gerard Crosson of Mourneview on the Dublin Road died suddenly of a heart attack.
Gardaí were notified of his remains being found at around 12.30pm. He was subsequently taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda where a post mortem took place.
Mr Crosson was predeceased by his parents Molly and James and brother Ronan. He will be sadly missed by his loving family Seán, Séamus, Noeleen, Ciarán and Colm, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law and his circle of friends.
Gerard reposed at his residence, Mourneview, Dublin Road, Dundalk last Wednesday. A Celebration of Life Ceremony was held in his residence on Thursday followed by removal to Glasnevin Crematorium for Cremation.
