Moazzam Hameed (20), 132 College Manor, Hoeys Lane, has been fined €10 for driving without insurance in College Manor on 26 March last.

It was stated on the defendant’s behalf that he has since got rid of the scooter he was using on this occasion and has no previous convictions.

Hameed, who pleaded guilty, is unemployed, not claiming benefits and lives with his aunt.

Legal aid was granted.
