MELLIORA Duffy (née Heeney), Ard Easmuinn and formerly of Castletown Road, Dundalk, whose death occurred on 12 October, 2018, in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. Predecease­d by her husband George. Very deeply regretted by her loving family, daughters Helga and Ameliora (Milly), sons Robert and Aidan, grandchild­ren Dearbhla, Amy, Lee and Shay, great-grandson Cian, brothers Gerard, Michael and Sean (Ennis), sisters Olivia Cahill, Georgina Drumm, Monica Zadro (Aus), Martina Vallely and Helen Larrissey (Galway), brothers- and sistersin-law, nephews, nieces, neighbours and friends. No funeral arrangemen­ts at time of going to press.

PETER Hughes, Tullycahan, Louth Village, and formerly of Keady, Co. Armagh, whose death occurred on 12 October, 2018. Peter, beloved husband of Peggy (née King). Deeply regretted by his wife, sister Ita, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends. Reposing at his home from 4pm on Saturday. Removal on Sunday morning to Church of Immaculate Conception, Louth, arriving for Mass at 10am. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

HELEN Clarke, Heynestown, Blackrock, Dundalk, whose death occurred peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on 11 October, 2018. Helen, much loved daughter of the late Richard and Mary (née Wray) and dear sister of Maria O’Flaherty, Richard, John, Pauline Matthews, Winifred Quigley, Bernadette Finnegan, William and the late Noel. Deeply regretted by her sisters, brothers, sistersin-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephe­w, grandniece­s, relatives and friends. Reposing at her home from 2pm until 9pm on Friday. Removal on Saturday morning to St. Fursey’s Church, Haggardsto­wn, arriving for Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

GERARD Crosson, Mourneview, Dublin Rd, Dundalk, whose death occurred on 6 October, 2018, suddenly from a heart attack. Gerard was predecease­d by his parents Molly and James and brother Ronan. Gerard will be sadly missed by his loving family Seán, Séamus, Noeleen, Ciarán and Colm, nieces, nephews, sistersin-law, brother-in-law and his circle of friends. Gerard reposing at his residence, Mourneview, Dublin Rd., Dundalk, on Wednesday, 10th from 2pm to 8pm. A Celebratio­n of Life Ceremony will be held in his residence on Thursday, 11th at 12 noon followed by removal to Glasnevin Crematoriu­m for Cremation at 3pm.

MICHAEL Tuite, Sportsmans­hall, Armagh Road, Dundalk, whose death occurred peacefully, at home, on 8 October, 2018. Beloved husband of Mary and dear father of Ken and Carol. He will be sadly missed by his sorrowing wife, son, daughter, daughter-in-law Corrina, Carol’s partner Declan, grandchild­ren Dylan, Conor and Niamh, sisters Pauline and Briege, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at Quinn’s Funeral Home, Bridge Street from 3pm-8pm on Tuesday. Removal on Wednesday morning at 10.15 am to St. Brigid’s Church, Kilcurry, arriving for Mass at 11 o’clock, followed by private cremation.
