Baptisms take place every fourth Sunday of the month at 11.30am mass and a baptism course will be held each month with course dates posted in the Church Porch. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament takes place on Mondays from 10.00am to 10.00pm in the Church followed by Benediction at 10.00p.m. Confessions are available on Mondays before 7.30 Mass and from 9.30pm-10.00pm, at the end of Eucharist Adoration, and at any time by request. The choir would welcome new members so maybe now is the time for you to come along and join up. If you wish to have your home blessed please contact Fr Gerry or Fr Paddy. At masses this weekend October20/21 parishioners can voluntary donate non- perishable goods which can be left in the church in aid of Dundalk Soup Kitchen. A representative from the Soup Kitchen will speak at masses this weekend. The Church Choir is looking for new members so if you are interested please contact Grainne or the priests. A second collection will be taken up at masses this weekend in aid of missionary work.
TIDY TOWNS
Knockbridge Tidy Towns have Community Employment positions available doing general environmental maintenance, grass cutting, using lawnmowers, strimming, weeding, litter control, spraying, sweeping, pruning, planting, digging and other general and occasional duties relating to daily procedures and requirements across all the project areas. PASTORAL COUNCIL
The first meeting of the new pastoral council for Kilkerley Knockbridge takes place on Tuesday, October 30 at 9.00pm in Knockbridge Parochial House. The Council will be commis- sioned in St Marys Church at 7.30pm mass on November 3.
