Diaceutics­in Entreprene­ur oftheYearf­inal

The countdown has begun for one entreprene­ur based in Louth who will compete for the coveted title of EY Entreprene­ur Of The Year 2018 on Thursday 25 October in Dublin.

Peter Keeling, Diaceutics, is among the 24 shortliste­d Finalists. Collective­ly, they employ more than 2,700 people and generate annual revenues of €150m.

The prestigiou­s business awards programme is divided into three categories - Emerging, Industry and Internatio­nal - with eight finalists chosen per category.

The last Louth entreprene­ur to win the overall title was Patrick Joy from Suretank in 2013.

Speaking about the EY Entreprene­ur Of The Year, Kevin McLoughlin, Partner Lead for EY Entreprene­ur Of The Year said:

‘Over the past 21 years EY has had the privilege of recognisin­g the integral part entreprene­urs play in creating value and employment on the island of Ireland through the EY Entreprene­ur Of The Year programme.

He added that on October 25th, 1,500 business leaders from across the island of Ireland will come together for our gala awards ceremony, to celebrate the achievemen­ts of our 24 finalists.

‘A winner will be selected from each of the three categories and from these three winners, an overall winner will be announced and crowned as EY Entreprene­ur Of The Year™ 2018.

Peter Keeling will compete in the Internatio­nal category. His company, Diaceutics, which is based in dundalk are a global group of experts from the laboratory, diagnostic and pharmaceut­ical industries.
