Diaceuticsin Entrepreneur oftheYearfinal
The countdown has begun for one entrepreneur based in Louth who will compete for the coveted title of EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2018 on Thursday 25 October in Dublin.
Peter Keeling, Diaceutics, is among the 24 shortlisted Finalists. Collectively, they employ more than 2,700 people and generate annual revenues of €150m.
The prestigious business awards programme is divided into three categories - Emerging, Industry and International - with eight finalists chosen per category.
The last Louth entrepreneur to win the overall title was Patrick Joy from Suretank in 2013.
Speaking about the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year, Kevin McLoughlin, Partner Lead for EY Entrepreneur Of The Year said:
‘Over the past 21 years EY has had the privilege of recognising the integral part entrepreneurs play in creating value and employment on the island of Ireland through the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year programme.
He added that on October 25th, 1,500 business leaders from across the island of Ireland will come together for our gala awards ceremony, to celebrate the achievements of our 24 finalists.
‘A winner will be selected from each of the three categories and from these three winners, an overall winner will be announced and crowned as EY Entrepreneur Of The Year™ 2018.
Peter Keeling will compete in the International category. His company, Diaceutics, which is based in dundalk are a global group of experts from the laboratory, diagnostic and pharmaceutical industries.
