EDDIE Cronin, Saint Clement’s Park, Point Road, Dundalk, whose death occurred on 26 October, 2018, peacefully at his residence surrounded by his family. Predecease­d by his daughter Carol, parents William and Hanora. Eddie, beloved husband of Phyllis (née Woods) and loving dad of Elaine Heading, Arlene Bell and Gary. He will be very sadly missed by his wife, daughters, son, brothers Tony, Noel, Willie, Gerard and John, sisters Eileen, Marie and Margaret, sons-in-law David and Paul, grandchild­ren Jessica, Rebecca, Jamie, Caoimhe, Maria and Robin, brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, relatives, wonderful neighbours and friends. Reposing at his residence Saint Clement’s Park from Saturday afternoon 4pm to 8pm and Sunday 12 noon to 8pm. Removal on Monday morning at 10.40am driving to Saint Joseph’s Redemptori­st Church, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in Saint Patrick’s Cemetery, Dundalk.

BRENDAN McNally, An Cearnog, Toberona, and formerly Lurgankeel, Kilcurry, Dundalk, whose death occurred on 13 September, 2018, peacefully, at home. Beloved son of the late Patrick and Mary Frances and dear brother of Rosaleen (McEntee), Pat and the late Donal, Maureen ( Winter) and Thomas. He will be sadly missed by his sister, brother, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Gathering of family and friends in St. Brigid’s Church, Kilcurry, on Monday, 29 October at 2pm, followed by committal in the adjoining cemetery.

CIARAN Reid, Abbeycourt, Louth Village, whose death occurred suddenly on 24 October, 2018. Ciaran will be sadly missed by his loving wife Paula, sons David and Stephen, daughter Lauren, his parents Patsy and Anna, his brothers Niall, Paudie and Liam, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends. Ciaran will repose in Finlay’s Funeral Home, Ardee on Friday (26) from 3pm to 8pm. Funeral Home private on Saturday morning. Removal on Saturday morning to SS Peter & Paul’s Church, Tallanstow­n arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 o’clock. Burial afterwards in St. Oliver Plunkett’s Cemetery.

MARGARET Smith (née McKeever), Trenton, Florida and formerly of 106 Pearse Park, Dundalk, whose death occurred peacefully at home on 23 October, 2018. Deeply regretted by her loving husband Doug, sons Shea and Craig, grand-dughter Shealyn, brothers Thomas and Barry, sisters Lena, Rosemary, Ursula and Sinead, aunt Anna, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral Mass and Interment in Trenton on 26 October, 2018.

KATHLEEN Hamill, Englewood, New Jersey, and formerly of Wynne’s Terrace, Dundalk, whose death occurred on 21 October, 2018, peacefully, at her home in Englewood, NJ. Predecease­d by her parents, John and Annie, brother Sean and sister Maureen and her dear friend Maria. Much loved sister of Fr Tom, Sr Anne, Donal, Una, Angela, Joe, Joan and Frances. Deeply regretted by her sisters, brothers, her dear friend Rosa, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, aunts, relatives and friends, both in Ireland and in the USA. Reposing at her sister Angela Mc Cabe’s home, Blackrock Rd, Dundalk from 4pm to 8pm on Friday. Removal on Saturday morning at 10.45am to the Church of the Holy Family, arriving for Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery.

KEVIN Boland, St. Mary’s, Drumcar, and formerly of Newtownbal­regan, Dundalk, whose death occurred peacefully on 22 October, 2018, in the wonderful care of the staff at Greenmount View, St. Mary’s, Drumcar. Deeply missed by his mother Monica and father Harry, sisters Attracta and Margaret, brothers Peter and Emmet, sisters-in-law Catherine and Romina, brothers-in-law Jean-Michel and Shay, nephews Oisín and Luc, nieces Siofra, Ciara, Hannah and Nina, and his many friends in Drumcar and Tullyallen. Reposing in Dixon’s Funeral Directors on Wednesday between 4pm to 8pm. Removal on Thursday morning at 10.30am driving to St. Joseph’s Church, Fatima, Castletown. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

EDWARD Lenox- Conyngham, Anaverna House, Ravensdale, Dundalk, whose death occurred on 22 October, 2018, peacefully in the compassion­ate care of The Mater Private Hospital, Dublin. Beloved husband of Lindis and loving father of William, Sasha and Finn. Much loved son of Vere Lenox- Conyngham and Alicia Chawner, brother of Lucinda and Thomas. Edward was a gentle man who enriched the lives of his family and friends with his intelligen­ce and humour and will be greatly missed. Reposing at home, on 26 October 3pm - 8pm. Funeral at St. Mary’s Church of Ireland, Ballymasca­nlon on Saturday at 2pm.

JEAN Newell (née Copas), Fatima Drive, and formerly of Ladywell Terrace, Dundalk, whose death occurred on 22 October, 2018, peacefully at her home. Jean beloved wife of late Bill and dear mother of Mary, Pat and Phillip, loving grandmothe­r of Mark, Kirsty, Erin, Eilish, Deirdre, Caolan, Morgan, Gemma, Simon, and Andrea. Deeply regretted by her sons, daughter, grandchild­ren, great grandchild­ren, great great-grandchild, daughters-in-law Mari and Kathy, brother John, sister Betty, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at her home from 12 noon on Tuesday. Removal on Wednesday morning at 10.45am to St Joseph’s Church, Castletown, Fatima, arriving for Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in adjoining Cemetery.
