Mary Catherine Hanratty, Drumgoose, Castleblay­ney, and formerly of Muirhevna, Dublin Road, Dundalk, whose death occurred on 2 November, 2018, peacefully at the Glencarron Nursing Home, Crossmagle­n. Mary, pre-deceased by her brothers Gene and Kevin, her sister Peggy Keenan and niece Margaret Mc Ardle. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family, her brother Hugh (England), sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends. Reposing at her residence (Drumgoose) on Sunday from 12 noon until removal on Sunday evening at 5.15pm to arrive at St Patrick’s Church, Broomfield, for Funeral prayers at 6pm. Funeral Mass on Monday morning at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Nan Lawless, Mulholland Avenue and Park Street, Dundalk, whose death occurred on 1 November, 2018, peacefully in St Francis Nursing Home. Nan, beloved sister of Geraldine, Sheila Lynch, Billy and the late Pat and Norah. Deeply regretted by her sisters, brother, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at her brother Billy’s home, Brook Street, from 11am on Friday. Removal on Saturday, morning to St. Patrick’s Cathedral arriving for Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.

Thomas (Tom) Maguire, Redfield, Lixnaw, Co. Kerry, and formerly of Gaulstrims­land, Riverstown, Dundalk, whose death occurred on 3t October, 2018, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in University Hospital Kerry. Pre-deceased by his brother John and sister Mary. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Margaret, sons Eamonn, Thomas and Kevin, daughters Ann, Rebecca and Charlotte, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law and partners John, Colum, Anita, Mary, Mags and Mike, grandchild­ren Thomas, Liam, Sarah, Tom, Sonny, Alexandra, Cuán and Jack, brothers Kevin, James and Tony, sisters Kathleen and Margaret, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Reposing at his home on Friday from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Requiem Mass will take place on Saturday in St. Peter and Paul’s Church, Ballyduff followed by burial in Rahela Cemetery.

Detta Clavin (née Byrne), Elm Park, Blackrock, whose death occurred peacefully in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital on 29 October, 2018. Detta beloved wife of the late Paddy and dear mother of Paul, Gráinne, Bróna and Patrick, dear granny of Sarah Kate, Alannah, Lara, Molly, Grace and Clodagh and sister of Kay, Veronica, Noel, and the late Dan, John, and Colette. Deeply regretted by her sons, daughters, grandchild­ren, brother, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at her home from 4pm until 8pm on Thursday. Removal on Friday morning to St. Oliver Plunkett Church, Blackrock, arriving for Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Fursey’s Cemetery, Haggardsto­wn.

Paddy Hughes, Bothár na Feirme, Dundalk, whose death occurred on 29 October, 2018, peacefully in Beaumont Hospital. Paddy much loved husband of the late Olive (née Hoey) and devoted father of Colin and loving grandad of Rachel, Ewan, and Ben and brother of Fidelma Faulkner, the late Peggy Gribben, and Gerry. Deeply regretted by his son, grandchild­ren, sister, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at his home from 11am until 8pm on Wednesday. Removal on Thursday morning at 10.45 to The Church of the Holy Family arriving for Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery.

Maggie (Margaret) King (née Cunningham, Crosstown, Corcreaghy, Dundalk, and Carrickmac­ross, whose death occurred on 29 October, 2018, in her 97th year, peacefully, at the Louth County Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Predecease­d by her husband James. Sadly missed and remembered with love by her nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home, Main Street, Carrickmac­ross, on Wednesday, from 4pm until 8pm and on Thursday, from 3pm until removal to St. Enda’s Church, Killanny, arriving at 6:30pm. Funeral Mass on Friday, at 10:30am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Michael (Mick) Mullen, Ravensdale, Dundalk and Jonesboro, Co. Armagh, whose death occurred peacefully on 30 October, 2018, surrounded his loving family. Beloved husband of Anne and much-loved father to his sons and daughters. Reposing at his home, 54 Lower Foughill Rd, on Wednesday from 12 noon until 10 pm. House private on the morning of the funeral, Thursday 1 November, with requiem Mass at 12 noon in the Sacred Heart Church, Jonesborou­gh, followed by burial at Church Hill Cemetery, Jonesborou­gh. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sorrowing wife, sons, daughters, daughter in law, sons in law, his ten adoring grandchild­ren, his brother Arthur and all the family circle.

Mary O’Sullivan (née Loughran), formerly Brew`s Hill, Navan, and Dundalk, whose death occurred on 29 October, 2018, peacefully, in the tender and dedicated care of the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. She will be sadly missed by her sorrowing sons Andrew and Mark, daughter Catherine, grandchild­ren Arjun, Akshara, Matthew, Jodie, Jack, Thomas, Rosie and Milly, sisters Una and Elma, daughters-in-law Julie and Radhika, her relatives and dear friends. Predecease­d by her husband Leslie and brother Francis. House and funeral private.
