Dancing in the Community Centre continues this Sunday night December 2, with music by Curtis Magee. Showbud play on December 9, and Liam Mannering on December 16. Dancing from 9.00pm to midnight.

JIVE CLASSES

Beginners Jive classes take place Kilkerley Community Centre each Tuesday evening at 7.30 pm and also each Tuesday evening Pilates takes place in the Centre at 6.30pm. Contact 0851048491 for details.

The Irish Blood Transfusio­n mobile unit is in Clan na Gael Centre today Tuesday, November, 27, from 4.30pm to 8.00pm, the Crowne Plaza Hotel this Wednesday, November 28, and this Thursday, November 29, from 4.30pm to 8.00pm.

St Vincent de Paul will hold its National Collection at masses this weekend 1st & 2nd of December.

Bowls continue in the Community Centre from 7.45pm each Wednesday night. New members welcome.

BADMINTON

Badminton for adults in the Community Centre on Monday nights from 8.00pm to 10.00pm. All over 18 welcome.

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament takes place each Friday from 6.30p.m.-7.30p.m. Please pray for Monica Callan, Dundalk, Ann Smyth (nee Monahan) Carrick Road, Eddie Cronin, St Clements Park, Dundalk, Jennifer Grant, Belmayne, Dublin, formerly Barronstow­n, Michael Tuite, Sports manhall, who died recently. Baptisms take place every second Sunday of the month at 10.00am mass. Confession will take place after 6.00p.m Mass on Saturdays and before Mass on First Fridays. If you wish to have your home blessed please contact Fr Gerry or Fr Paddy. The Church Choir is looking for more members so please contact Fidelma Bellew or the priests. Best wishes to parishione­rs who are hospitalis­ed or unwell at home presently. Fr Paddy is presently covering in Monasterbo­ice Parish until January 2019, celebratin­g weekend and week day masses, Baptisms, Weddings, Funerals, First Friday calls and hospital visits. He will still do what he can in Kilkerley if he as any time to spare at all. The last family tree healing mass of 2018 takes place on Monday next, December 3, at 8.00pm preceded by rosary and confession­s at 7.30pm. Refreshmen­ts afterwards.

FOROIGE

The Foroige Club continues each Friday evening at 8.00pm in the Community Centre as does Lady Birds and Girl Guides at 6.00pm and Brownies at 7.00pm.

EMMETS GFC

The girls minor team won in the Shield semi final on Sunday last at home to St Brides 2-13 to 1-5. Emmets Annual General Meeting was held on Friday, November 23, in the Community Centre and the following were elected: Honorary Presidents: Eoin Bellew, Seamus Lambe, Tommy Mulholland, Brendan McArdle, Harry Reilly.
