Michelle Sage, Road 2, Muirhevena­mor, Dundalk, whose death occurred on 23 November, 2018, peacefully in the wonderful care of the Louth County hospital surrounded by her loving family. Predecease­d by her sister Helen. Michelle, devoted mother to Conor and Kate and cherished daughter of Mick and Lillian. Michelle will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her brothers Pascal and Peter, sisters Linda, Sharon and Shannon, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, cousins, neighbours and many dear friends. Reposing at her residence from 6pm to 9pm on Saturday and from 11am to 9pm on Sunday. Removal on Monday afternoon at 12.30pm proceeding on foot to the Church of the Holy Family arriving for funeral mass at 1pm, followed by burial in Saint Patrick’s Cemetery Dundalk. Monica Callan (née Gorman), Avondale Park, Avenue Road, Dundalk,and formerly of Shanmullen, Hackballsc­ross, whose death occurred peacefully in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital on 23 November, 2018. Monica, daughter of the late Tom and Mary. Deeply regretted by her loving husband Francie, brothers Pat, Tim, Johnny, Jimmy, Peter, Mickey, Phil, Martin, Gerry, sisters Jane, Kathleen, and Bernadette, step children Bernie, Margaret, Siobhan, Fra, John, Elaine, and Shelly, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at her home on Sunday from 2pm until 8pm. House private at all other times. Removal on Monday morning to Church of the Holy Family arriving for Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Elizabeth Thompson (née McKeown), Haggardsto­wn, Dundalk, whose death occurred on 21 November, 2018, peacefully, in the tender and dedicated care of the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Beloved wife of the late James and dear mother of Jimmy, Katherine, Colin, Derek, Sharon, Angela, Caroline and the late Patrick and Roy. She will be sadly missed by her sorrowing sons, daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchild­ren, great-grandchild­ren, sister Theresa, brother Ned, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at home from 7pm to 9pm on Thursday and from 4pm to 9pm on Friday. Removal on Saturday at 10.20am, to St. Patrick’s Cathedral, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Albina Hoey (née Butler), 58 Concession Road, (Hoey’s Culloville Supermarke­t), Culloville, Co. Armagh and formerly Hoey’s Supermaket, Dublin Street, Dundalk, whose death occurred on 20 November, 2018, peacefully, at home.

Beloved wife of the late Michael, dear mother of Mary (McCann), Deirdre (Muckian), John, Albina (McArdle), Michael Jr., and Paul and much loved sister of Bridget (Kelly, California), William (Middlesbor­ough), Michael (New York), Johnny (Killanny), Larry (Quay Street, Dundalk), Teresa (Cheevers, Red Barns Road, Dundalk) and the late Katie (Rice, Bridge Stores, Castletown Road), Paddy (Louth), Mary (Carroll, Castletown Road) and Nelly (Murphy, Manchester). She will be sadly missed by her sorrowing daughters, sons, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchild­ren, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at home from 2pm to 10pm on Wednesday and Thursday. House private at other times. Removal on Friday at 10.15am, to St. Patrick’s Church, Crossmagle­n, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Inniskeen.

Dessie Shaw, late of Thomas Street, Dundalk, whose death occurred suddenly at his home in New York on 16 November, 2018. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Mena, sons Dessie, Brendan, Ronald and Eamonn, brothers Dominic and Billy, relatives and friends. Burial took place in New York on 19 November, 2018.
