Precision Cables coffee morning for colleague Sean

-

THE Dundalk company where Liverpool fan Sean Cox worked before he was brutally assaulted outside Anfield, is set to host a major fundraiser for their colleague and friend.

Precision Cables, based at Mulholland Avenue have launched a ‘nationwide’ coffee morning, to fundraise for Sean’s ongoing rehabilitation and care.

‘Sean was left fighting for his life after being randomly attacked just outside Liverpool’s stadium minutes before the semi final against Rome,’ said the company in an online appeal for the ‘Support Sean’ campaign.

‘He is currently being treated in the National Rehabilitation Centre in Dun Laoghaire. After the twelve week intensive work at the NRS is concluded, Sean and his family will effectively be on their own, and using their own resources to pay for the future intensive rehab that is required. They need our help.’

Staff and management at Precision Cables called on people across Louth and across the country to support the event.

‘We are calling on all our cus- tomers, suppliers, friends and associates to join us in hosting a coffee morning on their own premises on Friday December 7th to raise money for the Support Sean Fund.’

The firm are also hosting their own coffee morning at their Mulholland Avenue premises on December 7th. ‘You can also join us for coffee and cakes at our office in Dundalk.’

But, the overall aim of the campaign is to raise €2million, needed for Sean’s ongoing care and rehabilitation.
