Students ready for Pop Up
FORGET about Santa and his elves. The enterprising school-leavers of St Brigid’s School are busy putting the finishing touches to their locally sourced and handcrafted Christmas creations for their pop-up stand on Friday, December 7th from 10am to 2pm in The Marshes shopping centre. THE seven students, aged between 17 and 18, have perfected their Christmas themed products and are confident that they will make wonderful and unique gifts for the Christmas season.
THEY are looking forward to selling the lovely gifts on offer which include handmade wooden Christmas hanging decorations, star jewellery, Christmas cards and delicious Hot Chocolate- Choco- Chip-Marshmallow Rudolfs!
ONE of the young entrepreneurs, Robert described the experience as ‘ hard work but fun. We learned about meeting deadlines and working together as a team.’ His friend Emilis said he enjoyed sanding down the wooden discs for the Christmas Decorations.

WALK PEER and St. Brigid’s school, who continue to work together to develop the senior student’s Entrepreneurial and Employability skills, extend a hearty invitation to the public to join them at the St Brigid’s stand in the Marshes on Friday December 7th from 10am to 2pm.
