The annual Christmas party for senior citizens took place on Sunday last in the Community Centre and a great afternoon/ evenings enteryainment was had by all following a lovely meal.
Lucky winner of the raffle top prize of €300 was Oran McMahon, Carrickrobin, Kathleen Mulholland, Donaghmore, Carrick Road won €200 and Noel and Mary McEnteggart, Philipstown won €100.
The Kirby family, Maghereagh provided the early entertainment followed by Peter O’Hare and both were thoroughly enjoyed by all present.
DANCING
The next dance is on Sunday, January 6, with music by Brian McDermott, Twice Shy play on January 13, Showbud play on January 20 and Curtis Magee on January 27. Dancing from 9.00pm to midnight.

Anyone interested in travelling to Lourdes on the Armagh Diocesan Pilgrimage from 16th to May 21st, 2019 are reminded that we are already making travel plans so please get in touch with any Committee member.

CANCER SOCIETY
The Irish Cancer Society is looking for volunteers in the Louth, Cavan, Monaghan and Meath areas to drive patients to and from their treatments in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda and the Dublin hospitals.
Volunteer drivers will pick a patient up at the door of their home, drive them to the door of the hospital and then when finished treatment, pick them up and drop them home again.
