Reilly’s hosts Ardee Hospice fundraiser

SINGING SENSATION LAURYN RYAN TO BE PART OF A GREAT CHARITY EVENING

THE Fiver Friday Music Event 2018 takes place at Reilly’s Bar, Castle St, Ardee on this Friday December 21, 2018 at 9pm. Proceeds in aid of Ardee Hospice.

This is the second year of this event where dozens of Ardee and Dunleer Musicians come together to help fund raise for the hospice homecare group.

Dunleer man Liam Reynolds Musicial Director of Scoraiocht Nios Fearr is spearheadi­ng the event and is making final arrangemen­ts in preparatio­n for what will be a great music event.

The line up is Ardee guitarist David Starkey and friends, Annagassan woman Trish Rogers and Drogheda man Gerry Mulroy. The Shy Teds from Ardee along with the Nearly Made Its. Dunleer man Hugh D Conlon along with Tom Reynolds of Ardee will also play. Also on the line up is Butch Conlon Ardee and the Full Shilling Group from Dunleer.

Ardee top Guitarist John Farrell and Hard Rock Vocalist Willie Reilly will also perform and the youngest act on the night is Lauryn Ryan from Paughansto­wn Dunleer.

Lauryn is just back from winning the Scleip Talent Competitio­n in Strabane.

.In 2015 at the age of fifteen Lauryn won the S Factor Competitio­n and in 2017 she took second prize in an All Ireland Song Writing Competitio­n held in Killarney. Sound and Lighting for the night is in the capable hands of Bernard Carrie.

Scoraiocht Nios Fearr Chairman Hugh D Conlon said that this is a very worthy cause . He urged people to come along and for a fiver they can have a great night’s entertainm­ent.
