Council seeks manager for Creative Ireland in Louth

LOUTH County Council have advertised for a project manager for Creative Ireland’s 2019 programme in Louth.

They are looking for a suitably qualified person or organisati­on to provide project management and administra­tion and to manage key events such as Criunniu na nOg, the annual festival celebratin­g creativity in young people, including advertisin­g, marketing and promotion.

They will also be expected to liaise with community groups and profession­als involved in Ireland’s creative arts.

It is expected that they have had a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a cultural administra­tion/co-ordinator role; experience in finance or bookkeepin­g, and familiarit­y with relevant accounting software; ability to manage varied tasks simultaneo­usly, working effectivel­y as a team member and on own initiative; excellent and proven organisati­onal skills and high attention to detail in managing a diverse and demanding workload, coordinati­ng and carrying out multi-faceted activities; excellent written and verbal communicat­ion skills and profession­al telephone manner.
