Dundalk woman awarded Certificate of Excellence by ILDN
DUNDALK woman Laura Crimmins was awarded a Certificate of Excellence for the success of her business ‘Beauty Boutique’ by the Irish Local Development Network recently
The Border region Enterprise awards are help every year to highlight all the budding entrepreneurs who have successfully set up their own businesses over the last 12 months.
‘We represented Dundalk and Louth, and we were one of 14 businesses chosen for the huge achievement for Beauty Boutique,’ Laura told the ARgus
‘We were thrilled to be asked and awarded with a Certificate of Excellence at the ceremony in Farnham Estate.’

Speaking at the awards ceremony, Mr. Terry Hyland, CEO Breffni Integrated, a member of ILDN, said “There are 49 Local Development Companies (LDC’s) operating throughout the country and their representative organisation, the Irish Local Development Network (ILDN), is championing the recognition of enterprise creation in the through this business awards initiative.’
He added: ‘ In my view every one of the companies represented here tonight are winners. They all have had different business experiences and challenges and we in the LDC’s were delighted to be able to support them to set up their own business.’
‘I know that they have all worked very hard to get to where they are tonight, nominated for a prestigious award”.
Victorious on the night were Patrick McDermott, Creative Landscaping; and Daniel McGrory, Building Services, both from Inishowen, County Donegal and Rachael McCabe, Sound in Motion School of Music, from County Cavan.
