Dundalks newest Skin and Laser

-

TO bring back that missing radiance is what Luminess Skin and Laser Clinic, Dundalk’s newest, luxurious and most advanced skin and laser treatment clinic

is all about.

The opening of the clinic by Dianne Crosby at “Dunany” Seatown Gardens is the fulfillment of a long term personal ambition, which has taken three years to physically make it a reality from acquiring a delightful but vacant house with a former commercial office attached with lots of work to be done to restore and refurbish it while retaining the essential character.

To appreciate what a gorgeous job Dianne has done you have to step inside this heritage building, that has all the signs of a master craftsman that is Diane’s father Gerard who oversaw the transformation, and carried out all the joinery and carpentry work. He has been in the trade over 40 years and runs his own joinery business at Tallanstown

Dianne started out as a beauty therapist, but has expanded her expertise into skin care on which she focuses more today.

The clinic alone, the magnificent décor, lay-out and facilities is enough to give clients a lift to actually see and relax in its salubrious surroundings. Words don’t do the clinic credit.

Never mind the wonders that Dianne and her two highly qualified staff can perform for their clients. Between the three they have 50 years experience in the industry.

Lisa Carolan carries out the front of house duties, and has worked for 17 years as a beauty therapist.

Rachel McNally is the other member of staff, who is the senior skin and laser therapist.

Everyone recognizes that from time to time they need a boost. Batteries can go low and humans feel and portray signs of tiredness and wear and tear, especially our skin when we move on a little.

For most reinvigoration is every so often required to make us feel and look good. That’s what Dianne wants to do for clients. “We want them to feel good about themselves. Not everybody coming in might feel great, but we want them to feel better and give them a boost in confidence when they leave.”

The clinic is open to men and women, with Dianne noticing an increase in her male clientele.

Luminess is results driven but wishes clients to very much enjoy and relax during the time they are in the clinic. The products used are of medical grade standard that are properly medically researched. The two main products utilized are Alumiermd and Cosmedix.

Staff provide treatments for all over the body, and are eminently qualified to provide the right advice and treatment for those with skin problems and concerns, and help those with the like of psoriasis, dermatitis and other troublesome conditions.

Owner, Dianne started her career in the beauty therapy profession training under the renowned Fernanda Scappiticci who was very much ahead of her time. She worked for eight years in a salon in Carrickmac
