Halloween event on Slieve Foye!
Carlingford Adventure Centre have launched a new Halloween experience set to take place on the slopes of Slieve Foye mountain.
Overlooking medieval Carlingford, the ‘Forest of Fear’ experience will allow people to take part in adventure activities as well as having the usual fun and scares.
A spokesman for Carliongford Adventure Centre explained that the event is suitable for families and ages from 6 years +
‘ There are various grades of scariness across the evening so there is something for everyone! It promises to be a fun evening of adventure and laughs that is suitable for families, birthday parties, team building events and other groups. It’s also an experience that normally money cant buy as it includes night-time adventure activities which just aren’t available including ziplines, laser combat and axe throwing.’
‘Carlingford Adventure have added a bit of adventure to the typical event, whilst still keeping the fun and scary elements! They have also utilised the amazing natural elements that come so naturally in Carlingford. With their own area of frightening forest and a large spooky quarry to play with, visitors are guaranteed a Halloween experience like no other.’
‘ The forest normally stages adventure activities including Ziptopia, laser combat, rock climbing and axe throwing so you can expect some or all of these to be involved in Forest of Fear. So participants get the fear and fun of an ordinary Halloween event with a frightening forest walk, or a fun forest walk for the younger kids, but also get to try some cool adventure activities.’
Nowhere else will you get to do a night zipline 30mtrs high over a quarry, shoot laser at zombies, try axe throwing and toast smores over a campfire!
The event is also open to different ages with a family event at 6pm, a scary event at 7pm and ultra scary events at 9pm and 10pm.!
