Doris Armstrong, Petestown, Carlingfor­d, whose death occurred on 12 October, 2019, peacefully, in the loving care of Carlingfor­d nursing home. Doris, beloved daughter of the late Robert and Margaret and dear sister of the late Thomas, Hetty, Lilly and Mae. Deeply regretted by her nieces and nephews, relatives, neighbours and many, many friends. Reposing at her home (A91H971) from 12 noon on Tuesday. Removal on Wednesday afternoon at 1.30pm to St Mary’s Church, Ballymasca­nlon arriving for service at 2pm. Burial afterwards in adjoining churchyard.

May Mulholland (née McGuinness), Maghereagh, Kilkerley and late of the Fairgreen, Dundalk, whose death occurred peacefully, in her 93rd year, on 12 October, 2019, peacefully, in her 93rd year surrounded by her family at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda. Predecease­d by her husband Matt and daughter-in-law Marie, cherished mother of Anne, Eugene and Paul. May will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her daughter, sons, son-in-law Raymond, daughter-in-law Bernie, her doting grandchild­ren Kylie, Shauna, Sarah, Rebecca, Natalie, Callum and Luke, nieces, nephews, extended family and all who knew and loved her. Reposing at Dixons Funeral Home, Maxwell Row, Bridge Street, Dundalk on Monday between 5 o’clock and 9 o’clock. No funeral arrangemen­ts at time of going to press.

Seán Heeney, Bradford, England, whose death occurred on 27 September, 2019, aged 34. Son of Michael, formerly of Old Toberona, Dundalk, and Nora. Grandson, of the late Alfie and Alice Heeney, Old Toberona, Dundalk. He will be sadly missed by his parents, brothers and sisters, relatives and friends. Burial will take place in England.

Francis (Flossy) O’Brien, Oakland Park, Dundalk, whose death occurred suddenly on 13 October, 2019. Beloved son of the late Kevin and Anne Nancy, father of Francine (Faith), Nicola, Jennifer, Seán, Kevin and Stephen and dear brother of Brigid, Mary, Charlie, Paddy, Oliver, John and Mark. He will be sadly missed by his sorrowing daughters, sons, sisters, brothers, partner (Philippine­s), brothersin-law, sisters-in-law, grandchild­ren, uncle, aunt, cousins, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Michael Butler, New York, USA and formerly of Killanny, Carrickmac­ross, whose death occurred on 6 October, 2019, following a short illness, bravely borne, surrounded by his beloved family. Sadly missed and remembered with love by his heartbroke­n wife, Moira, his sons Michael, Kenny, Brian and Patrick, daughters-in-law Jackie and Monica, grandchild­ren Brittney, Brendan, Kaitlyn, Caroline, Jack and Chloe. Much loved brother of Bridget (Kelly, USA), William (England), Johnny (Killanny), Larry (Dundalk), Teresa (Cheevers, Dundalk) and the late Katie (Rice, Dundalk), Paddy (Louth), Mary (Carroll, Dundalk), Nelly (Murphy, England) and Albina (Hoey, Culloville). Aileen Kirk (née Breathnach), Drumass, Inniskeen, whose death occurred, in her 90th year, on 10 October, 2019, peacefully, in Castleross Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family. Aileen, beloved wife of late Joseph, much loved mother of Ita, Vivian and Paul, grandmothe­r of Aidan, Nicola, Aaron, Lee, Emma, Ryan, Mark, Caragh and great-grandchild Leon, dear sister of Ethna and Colm. Sadly missed by daughters-in-law, son-in-law, relatives and friends. Reposing at her residence from 7pm on Friday, until removal Sunday morning to the Church of Mary Mother of Mercy, Inniskeen, arriving for 10am Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery.

Martin Kerr Snr., Rathmullen Park, Drogheda, and formerly of Hughes Park, Dundalk, whose death occurred on 11 October, 2019, suddenly at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. Martin, beloved husband of Bernadette and loving dad to Robert, Jane, Martin Jnr., Aisling and Gary. Sadly missed by his wife and family, daughters in law Aisling and Fidelma, son in law Alan, grandchild­ren Ella and Kai, brother Paul, sisters Siobhan, Eileen, Marcella, Anne and Lily, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at his home from 2 o’clock until 7 o’clock on Sunday. Removal on Monday morning at 10.30am arriving to Holy Family Church, Ballsgrove, for Funeral Mass at 11 o’clock. John (Jackie) Callan, Eastbourne, England and formerly of Cluan Enda, Dundalk, whose death occurred suddenly in Spain, on 5 October, 2019. Predecease­d by his parents Jack and Olive and his beloved wife Penny. Cherished father of Nik and Stephen. Jackie will be sadly missed by his loving sons, daughters-in-law Sue and Naomi, grandchild­ren Jake, Sam, Katy, Henry and Claudia, brothers Frank and Ray (Canada) Brian (Dundalk), sister- in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and neighbours. Interment will take place in Eastbourne, East Sussex, England.

Stephen A Faul, Dalkey, Co. Dublin and Louth Village, Co. Louth, whose death occurred on 8 October, 2019, peacefully. Beloved husband of the late Rita: devoted father of Margaret (Lynch), Deirdre, Joseph and the late Helen (Neville) and baby Denise. Mary (May) Coan, 73 Ard Easmuinn, Dundalk, whose death occurred on 7 October, 2019, peacefully, in the tender loving care of the nurses and staff of Dealgan House Nursing Home. Beloved wife of Bob and dear mother of Robert, Rodney and the late Rory. Loving sister of Phylis, Rita, Pat and the late Isobel and Richard. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, sons, daughtersi­n-law Aoife and Adrienne, grandchild­ren, sisters, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
