-

Sinead Gray and Eileen Matthews at Sinead’s 30th birthday party in The Lisdoo. ON Friday night I headed for the Lisdoo where a huge crowd had gathered specially to s celebrate Sinead Gray from Armagh Road’s 30th birthday and there to make sure she had an excellent night was husband Colin, kids Alannah, Alexa and Aleigha, mum Eileen Matthews from McSwiney Street, brothers Eamonn and Paul and Colin’s mum Majella Gray and Sammy Henry both from Cederwood Park along with a huge collection of family and friends.

I wasn’t too long in the door when I caught up with sisterin-law Denise and John Hughes from Beechmount who were having a great laugh with Sandra and Mickey O’Hagan from Muirhevnamor who wanted to wish Sinead all the best on her big night.

Heading for another adjacent table I met up with one of Sinead’s BFF’s Aoife and Coco Conway from Ashling Crescent who told me they were going to make sure she had a wild, wild, wild night.

Next, I headed over to have a word with Sinead’s best buds Sarah McDonnell from Lisdoo and Michelle McGinn from Carlingford and they were joined by Natasha Gonnelly from Muirhevnamor and Emma Coleman from Ashling Park who were going to make sure that Sinead had a totally insane night.

Meanwhile up near the bar I caught up with Keith and Anthony Murphy from Ashling Park who wanted a big shout out for Ducka Larkin and was missing an excellent night.

I then headed for the relations table where I got a word with John McShane from Blackrock, John McShane Jnr. from Dublin (also celebrating his 36th birthday), Peter and Rosemary Gray from Ashling Park, Sinead’s mum Eileen Gray from McSwiney Street, and Eilish Gray from Blackrock who were all having a lovely time together and thoroughly enjoying the evening.

After this I headed over for a chat with Gerard Trainor from Muirhevnamor who was with Natasha Gonnolly whom I’d met earlier and he told me it was going to be nothing short of a legendary night.

Making my way through the crowds I the got talking to Lisa Bellew from Farndreg who was with Jason McGee from Ashling Park who told me they wanted to wish Sinead all the best and they were definitely there for a great night.

Not too long later I was lucky enough to get a word with Niamh Donnelly from Greenacres who wanted to wish Sinead a very happy birthday and was there to party.

Heading for an adjacent table I caught up with Amanda Gray from Newry who had been there with Shane and Dylan but unfortunately Dylan had to leave early because he was boxing in the Ulster Novice Finals in Belfast the following morning and wanted to tell aunty Sinead Claire Dougan and Sarah McDonnell. he was sorry he couldn’t have stayed on any longer.

After this I met up with Sinead’s brother-in-law Franco Gray from Cedarwood Park who was up for a major night of fun and wanted to wish Sinead all the best.

Meanwhile up near the bar I then got talking to Bernard Kelly from Riverside Drive and Ciaran Lee from Quality Street who were in rare form and having a great laugh together

Not too long later I then got a word with John Mallon from Ashling Park who had his hands full with drinks and wanted to wish Sinead all the best on her 30th, yes that’s right John her 30th.

Finally, before I departed, I met up with Dean Gray from Beechmount Drive who was with Natasha Gray also from Beechmount Drive who were looking forward to a massive night with everyone there.
