FAMILY AND FRIENDS CELEBRATE IN THE MARQUEE

-

ONE 21st birthday party I certainly wasn’t going to miss over the weekend was that of Shauna Rogers from Legion Avenue which took place in the marquee in Toales on Saturday night and there to make sure she had an excellent night was mum Lorraine Rogers from Legion Avenue, dad Patrick Gregg and grandparents Catherine and Paddy Gregg from Muirhevnamor, Patsy Rogers from Legion Avenue and boyfriend Tiernan McGee from Ashling Park and a huge collection of family and friends.

I wasn’t too long in the door when I caught up with cousin Cole Cumiskey from Bay Estate who was there with his main squeeze Abbie Cosgrove from Belfry Avenue who wanted to wish Shauna all the best on her big night.

Heading for an adjacent table, I then met some of Shauna’s besties in Leah Grimes from Ath Lethan and Sadhbh Cronin from Kilkerley who assured me this was going to be anything but a quiet celebration.

They were also in the company of other besties Aoibhín McErlean from Haggardstown and Sinead Hutchinson from Mullaharlin Road who was with her boyfriend Conor Maguire from The Loakers who were up for an insane night with the birthday girl.

After this I headed over for a chat with Winney Laird from Grange drive who was there on the night with her godmum and Shauna’s aunty Serena Cumiskey and husband Paul from Bay Estate who were definitely going to make it a real night to remember.

I then headed over for a chat with Marie O’Callaghan from Legion Avenue who was chatting to aunty Alishea McCrave from Haggardstown and Patsy’s partner Mary Keenan from Rostrevor who wanted to wish Shauna a very happy 21st and said they were having a lovely night.

Meanwhile over at another table I met up with Lisa Smyth from Belfast who was up for a night of fun with Jennifer Fearon from Omeath, Deborah Dixon from Belfast, Shauna’s granny Catherine Gregg from Muirhevnamor Della Smyth from Belfast who were having a lovely time together and were ready to party the night away.

They were also in the company of cousin Ciara Dixon from Belfast and aunty Leanne O’Kane from Muirhevnamor who assured me it was going to be a mad night for sure.

I then got a quick word with Paul Cumiskey from Bay Estate who was having a laugh with Fergal McVeigh from Drive 1 who said he was with Gary Bailey from Road 1 and were going to make sure it was an epic celebration.

Next, I caught up with Stephen Kane from Point Road Upper who was with Denise Rooney from Toberona who is one of Lorraine’s mates and were delighted to be there for Shauna’s big night.

Finally, before I departed, I got talking Caoilainn Meek from Bellurgan who was with Sadhbh Cronin and Eamonn Durnin from Finnabar Crescent who were there to party with Shauna all night long.
